WTF?

Sir Humphries has disappeared!

Here is the dead link.

On a totally unrelated subject, I have just noticed that my post on Easter was my 666th post.

Coincidence?

What's feckin' Good about Friday?

How can it be 'Good' when I cant't buy a bloody drink!

On my feckin' birthday!

And for the shopping Nazis here- how about you assholes take the day off?

That would make the day better for the shopowners, trying to go about thier business.

It's a fact of life that we have moved out of the Sixties and now have a country that operates ALL YEAR round.

Get friggin' used to it or find a job in a area where they don't work weekends.

That would be (Mostly) called the public 'service'

Anyone spot the irony in the 'We hate Christians' party setting their apparatus upon those who try and sell forbidden items during this religious holiday?

In deference to the 85% of fundie right-wingwer NZer's, I will now have a drink for not being nailed to a tree for saying that it would be nice to refrain from smiting each other!

Slowly, we are getting there.

Graeme Burton jailed for at least 26 years

"Convicted double killer Graeme Burton was jailed for at least 26 years today.
In the High Court at Wellington, Justice John Wild imposed a sentence of preventive detention with a non-parole period of 26 years..."

Link:

Slowly, sentences for serious crimes are starting to reflect that they are for serious crimes!

But are they enough?

I don't think so- The least that particular POS should have recieved was an "Until you die" sentence. Weld the friggin' cell door shut and post K rations through a slot.

What I would have like to have seen hime get was a long drop on a short rope- THE LAST TIME HE MURDERED SOMEONE.

I'm sure Karl Kuchenbecker and family would agree. Say what you will about the death penalty- THEY DON'T REOFFEND!

And the execution should be held in a stadium & tickets sold- all proceeds to be shared by the long trail of victims he has left behind!

Should kids be tested at school?

Of course they should be bloody tested!

Link:

Life has winners and losers. Better friggin' get used to it!

In the real world you won't get much mileage out of 'making a bit of an effort'

Hell, we could grade them:

Extremely clever
Bright
Above average
Average
Destined to retail fast food/work at the Warehouse
Trolley Boy
Public Service/Local Council

This crap that nobody is a winnwer or loser is exactly that- crap!

Let's see a system that rewards excellence and tries to rehabilitate those at the other end.

Non-PC pic of the week

A gadget people will happily pay for!

Teen repellent arrives in NZ

"A device with a high frequency mosquito-like sound used to dispel crowds of trouble seeking teens has arrived in New Zealand and is likely to be available within days.
Called The Mosquito, it has caused a stir overseas after it was developed in the United Kingdom last year, the Sunday Star-Times reported today..."

Link:

And of course we have the inevitable whining soft-cock:

"Auckland Council for Civil Liberties Barry Wilson told the newspaper anything that indiscriminately prevents a group of people from coming or going in a public place was "undesirable".
"If (the young people) are gathering in such a way to be threatening there are other areas of the law to deal with that."

It's called property rights, dickwad!
The right to decide who you want and DON'T want on yours.

As for the last sentence- that would have to be another Tui Ad!

MP questions $96,000 research grant to study 'bogans'

2:15PM Friday March 30, 2007

"...National has questioned how a student scooped $96,000 in research funding to study the everyday lives of bogans including their practices of "moshing" and "headbanging".

Tertiary Education Minister Michael Cullen says this type of research is a "great investment" which is "underpinning our transformation into a knowledge economy..."

Long, but worth reading

This appeared on another of my sites, by a chap who often stops by here. It's a post that warrants repeating regularly!

On Sheep, Wolves, and Sheepdogs - Dave GrossmanBy LTC (RET) Dave Grossman, author of "On Killing."

Honor never grows old, and honor rejoices the heart of age. It does so because honor is, finally, about defending those noble and worthy things that deserve defending, even if it comes at a high cost. In our time, that may mean social disapproval, public scorn, hardship, persecution, or as always, even death itself. The question remains: What is worth defending? What is worth dying for? What is worth living for? - William J. Bennett - in a lecture to the United States Naval Academy November 24, 1997

One Vietnam veteran, an old retired colonel, once said this to me:
"Most of the people in our society are sheep. They are kind, gentle, productive creatures who can only hurt one another by accident." This is true. Remember, the murder rate is six per 100,000 per year, and the aggravated assault rate is four per 1,000 per year. What this means is that the vast majority of Americans are not inclined to hurt one another. Some estimates say that two million Americans are victims of violent crimes every year, a tragic, staggering number, perhaps an all-time record rate of violent crime. But there are almost 300 million Americans, which means that the odds of being a victim of violent crime is considerably less than one in a hundred on any given year. Furthermore, since many violent crimes are committed by repeat offenders, the actual number of violent citizens is considerably less than two million.

Thus there is a paradox, and we must grasp both ends of the situation: We may well be in the most violent times in history, but violence is still remarkably rare. This is because most citizens are kind, decent people who are not capable of hurting each other, except by accident or under extreme provocation. They are sheep.

I mean nothing negative by calling them sheep. To me it is like the pretty, blue robin's egg. Inside it is soft and gooey but someday it will grow into something wonderful. But the egg cannot survive without its hard blue shell. Police officers, soldiers, and other warriors are like that shell, and someday the civilization they protect will grow into something wonderful.? For now, though, they need warriors to protect them from the predators.

"Then there are the wolves," the old war veteran said, "and the wolves feed on the sheep without mercy." Do you believe there are wolves out there who will feed on the flock without mercy? You better believe it. There are evil men in this world and they are capable of evil deeds. The moment you forget that or pretend it is not so, you become a sheep. There is no safety in denial.

"Then there are sheepdogs," he went on, "and I'm a sheepdog. I live to protect the flock and confront the wolf."

If you have no capacity for violence then you are a healthy productive citizen, a sheep. If you have a capacity for violence and no empathy for your fellow citizens, then you have defined an aggressive sociopath, a wolf. But what if you have a capacity for violence, and a deep love for your fellow citizens? What do you have then? A sheepdog, a warrior, someone who is walking the hero's path. Someone who can walk into the heart of darkness, into the universal human phobia, and walk out unscathed

Let me expand on this old soldier's excellent model of the sheep, wolves, and sheepdogs. We know that the sheep live in denial, that is what makes them sheep. They do not want to believe that there is evil in the world. They can accept the fact that fires can happen, which is why they want fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms and fire exits throughout their kids' schools.
But many of them are outraged at the idea of putting an armed police officer in their kid's school. Our children are thousands of times more likely to be killed or seriously injured by school violence than fire, but the sheep's only response to the possibility of violence is denial. The idea of someone coming to kill or harm their child is just too hard, and so they chose the path of denial.

The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, can not and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheep dog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. The world cannot work any other way, at least not in a representative democracy or a republic such as ours.

Still, the sheepdog disturbs the sheep. He is a constant reminder that there are wolves in the land. They would prefer that he didn't tell them where to go, or give them traffic tickets, or stand at the ready in our airports in camouflage fatigues holding an M-16. The sheep would much rather have the sheepdog cash in his fangs, spray paint himself white, and go, "Baa."
Until the wolf shows up. Then the entire flock tries desperately to hide behind one lonely sheepdog.

The students, the victims, at Columbine High School were big, tough high school students, and under ordinary circumstances they would not have had the time of day for a police officer. They were not bad kids; they just had nothing to say to a cop. When the school was under attack, however, and SWAT teams were clearing the rooms and hallways, the officers had to physically peel those clinging, sobbing kids off of them. This is how the little lambs feel about their sheepdog when the wolf is at the door.

Look at what happened after September 11, 2001 when the wolf pounded hard on the door. Remember how America, more than ever before, felt differently about their law enforcement officers and military personnel? Remember how many times you heard the word hero?
Understand that there is nothing morally superior about being a sheepdog; it is just what you choose to be. Also understand that a sheepdog is a funny critter: He is always sniffing around out on the perimeter, checking the breeze, barking at things that go bump in the night, and yearning for a righteous battle. That is, the young sheepdogs yearn for a righteous battle. The old sheepdogs are a little older and wiser, but they move to the sound of the guns when needed right along with the young ones.

Here is how the sheep and the sheepdog think differently. The sheep pretend the wolf will never come, but the sheepdog lives for that day. After the attacks on September 11, 2001, most of the sheep, that is, most citizens in America said, "Thank God I wasn't on one of those planes." The sheepdogs, the warriors, said, "Dear God, I wish I could have been on one of those planes. Maybe I could have made a difference." When you are truly transformed into a warrior and have truly invested yourself into warriorhood, you want to be there. You want to be able to make a difference.

There is nothing morally superior about the sheepdog, the warrior, but he does have one real advantage. Only one. And that is that he is able to survive and thrive in an environment that destroys 98 percent of the population. There was research conducted a few years ago with individuals convicted of violent crimes. These cons were in prison for serious, predatory crimes of violence: assaults, murders and killing law enforcement officers. The vast majority said that they specifically targeted victims by body language: slumped walk, passive behavior and lack of awareness. They chose their victims like big cats do in Africa, when they select one out of the herd that is least able to protect itself.

Some people may be destined to be sheep and others might be genetically primed to be wolves or sheepdogs. But I believe that most people can choose which one they want to be, and I'm proud to say that more and more Americans are choosing to become sheepdogs.
Seven months after the attack on September 11, 2001, Todd Beamer was honored in his hometown of Cranbury, New Jersey. Todd, as you recall, was the man on Flight 93 over Pennsylvania who called on his cell phone to alert an operator from United Airlines about the hijacking. When he learned of the other three passenger planes that had been used as weapons, Todd dropped his phone and uttered the words, "Let's roll," which authorities believe was a signal to the other passengers to confront the terrorist hijackers. In one hour, a transformation occurred among the passengers - athletes, business people and parents. -- from sheep to sheepdogs and together they fought the wolves, ultimately saving an unknown number of lives on the ground.

There is no safety for honest men except by believing all possible evil of evil men. - Edmund Burke

Here is the point I like to emphasize, especially to the thousands of police officers and soldiers I speak to each year. In nature the sheep, real sheep, are born as sheep. Sheepdogs are born that way, and so are wolves. They didn't have a choice. But you are not a critter. As a human being, you can be whatever you want to be. It is a conscious, moral decision.

If you want to be a sheep, then you can be a sheep and that is okay, but you must understand the price you pay. When the wolf comes, you and your loved ones are going to die if there is not a sheepdog there to protect you. If you want to be a wolf, you can be one, but the sheepdogs are going to hunt you down and you will never have rest, safety, trust or love. But if you want to be a sheepdog and walk the warrior's path, then you must make a conscious and moral decision every day to dedicate, equip and prepare yourself to thrive in that toxic, corrosive moment when the wolf comes knocking at the door.

For example, many officers carry their weapons in church.? They are well concealed in ankle holsters, shoulder holsters or inside-the-belt holsters tucked into the small of their backs.? Anytime you go to some form of religious service, there is a very good chance that a police officer in your congregation is carrying. You will never know if there is such an individual in your place of worship, until the wolf appears to massacre you and your loved ones.

I was training a group of police officers in Texas, and during the break, one officer asked his friend if he carried his weapon in church. The other cop replied, "I will never be caught without my gun in church." I asked why he felt so strongly about this, and he told me about a cop he knew who was at a church massacre in Ft. Worth, Texas in 1999. In that incident, a mentally deranged individual came into the church and opened fire, gunning down fourteen people. He said that officer believed he could have saved every life that day if he had been carrying his gun. His own son was shot, and all he could do was throw himself on the boy's body and wait to die. That cop looked me in the eye and said, "Do you have any idea how hard it would be to live with yourself after that?"

Some individuals would be horrified if they knew this police officer was carrying a weapon in church. They might call him paranoid and would probably scorn him. Yet these same individuals would be enraged and would call for "heads to roll" if they found out that the airbags in their cars were defective, or that the fire extinguisher and fire sprinklers in their kids' school did not work. They can accept the fact that fires and traffic accidents can happen and that there must be safeguards against them.

Their only response to the wolf, though, is denial, and all too often their response to the sheepdog is scorn and disdain. But the sheepdog quietly asks himself, "Do you have and idea how hard it would be to live with yourself if your loved ones attacked and killed, and you had to stand there helplessly because you were unprepared for that day?"

It is denial that turns people into sheep. Sheep are psychologically destroyed by combat because their only defense is denial, which is counterproductive and destructive, resulting in fear, helplessness and horror when the wolf shows up.

Denial kills you twice. It kills you once, at your moment of truth when you are not physically prepared: you didn't bring your gun, you didn't train. Your only defense was wishful thinking. Hope is not a strategy. Denial kills you a second time because even if you do physically survive, you are psychologically shattered by your fear helplessness and horror at your moment of truth.
Gavin de Becker puts it like this in Fear Less, his superb post-9/11 book, which should be required reading for anyone trying to come to terms with our current world situation: "...denial can be seductive, but it has an insidious side effect. For all the peace of mind deniers think they get by saying it isn't so, the fall they take when faced with new violence is all the more unsettling."

Denial is a save-now-pay-later scheme, a contract written entirely in small print, for in the long run, the denying person knows the truth on some level.

And so the warrior must strive to confront denial in all aspects of his life, and prepare himself for the day when evil comes. If you are warrior who is legally authorized to carry a weapon and you step outside without that weapon, then you become a sheep, pretending that the bad man will not come today. No one can be "on" 24/7, for a lifetime. Everyone needs down time. But if you are authorized to carry a weapon, and you walk outside without it, just take a deep breath, and say this to yourself...

"Baa."

This business of being a sheep or a sheep dog is not a yes-no dichotomy. It is not an all-or-nothing, either-or choice. It is a matter of degrees, a continuum. On one end is an abject, head-in-the-sand-sheep and on the other end is the ultimate warrior. Few people exist completely on one end or the other. Most of us live somewhere in between. Since 9-11 almost everyone in America took a step up that continuum, away from denial. The sheep took a few steps toward accepting and appreciating their warriors, and the warriors started taking their job more seriously. The degree to which you move up that continuum, away from sheephood and denial, is the degree to which you and your loved ones will survive, physically and psychologically at your moment of truth.

'P' maker frys

Here:

"...Detective Sergeant Greg Murton, of the Christchurch police drug squad, said it was believed a P lab was operating and the explosion happened during a "cook".
"A person was hospitalised with 50 per cent burns over their body, with full thickness burns over 30 per cent," he said..."

A Level Playing Field

Here are a few things I would like to see- just to show standards are equally applied, across the board.

An inquiry into the culture of Politicians.
An inquiry into the culture of Schoolteachers.
An inquiry into the culture of Union officials.
An inquiry into the culture of Academics.
An inquiry into the culture of the Judiciary.

Got an old Italian Rifle or an axe?

I don't suppot asassination- it just gives the control freak more reasons to screw us law-abiding types.

But I can't figure out why SOMEBODY in NZ doesn't have enough of a axe to grind to give it a go.

It just show what an apathetic bloody lot we are. Or unimaginative.

Isn't there a Lee Harvey Oswald out there?

Someone who has been totally fucked over by IRD- who has lost everything and just wants to take some bastard with him?

It could be said that we are too civilised to do this.

Wrong.

Too goddamned pussywhipped, more like.

Our suicides just don't consider helping the greater good and taking out the trash with themselves.

At least the sand-suckers manage to do that...

Blogger Drinks?

Today I met more of the GRWC bloggers .
http://crusader-rabbit.blogspot.com/

Again, I'm confirmed that with so many good folks out there, why would you waste your time having a drink with wankers (AKA- the Left)

It's just a shame I didn't have a bit more time, but kids & in-laws had to be fed.

Still, it's quality of time, not quantity.

With so many wankers out there, one often loses sight of the fact that there are a hell of a lot of damned fine people too.

It's a privilage to meet them!

Morons and Lotto

Like moths to an outside light bulb, really.

If I were a recruiter for a company carrying out dodgy medical experiments, a Lotto outlet would be a great place to find 2-legged lab rats.

It seems that every line leading to a lotto counter has a ratio of 50% dotty old tarts on final countdown to a rest home (AKA Pre-Death Storage Facility)

For some reason which eludes me, they always have a wad of mutilated tickets to check, which they save up until Saturday- the only day the typical lotto outlet has a queue. That done, they will precede to produce a coupon which is so worn/marked that it cannot be scanned. This means the lotto operater- another creature who, like Poo, has a Very Small Brain- must make corrections manually (slowly)

They refuse to replace this manky peice of paper because 'It's my LUCKY coupon'

If it's so friggin' lucky- WHY ARE YOU HERE?

What the hell these animated corpses would do with the money anyway!

Leave it to a home for used cats?

It's mine- you can't have it!

The ball & chain picked up my new pistol, thinking it was another for her to try.

"This one is GOOD!- the grip fits and it's not too heavy"

NO!- it's MINE!

So now I have to go shopping for a .38 Webley (this will be much better for her!)

She isn't getting my Precious!

Cultural Treasures!

Found in a gunshop near me today!

A .455 Webley MkVI in excellent condition- it has hardly been used and stored by somebody who knows firearms. You can keep the silly wooden spears & stone clubs- this is the gun that kept the damned natives in line for 1/2 a century!

I was intending going to the auctions to try and get hold of one- anything in any halfway reasonable condition would have done, but this one was a real gem. Complete with holster and reloading dies- this ain't going to sit on the shelf and get looked at!

So of course I brought it!

Well worth going without sex for a while!

Trading Spouses

Will trade for a Uberti High-Wall with target sights or a Pedersoli Trap-Door Long range.

She comes with young un's.

As she is in fairly good condition, I would expect the gun to be, too.

The difference could be settled in Cash or Whiskey, by negotiation.

Normal service has resumed

That was as much fun as you can have with your pants on!
Four days of Black Powder, Barbeques and Beer. Living under canvas, catching up with old friends, trading and plenty of friendly competition.
Bacon & beans for breakfast, followed by 8 hours of shooting action with pistol, rifle, shotgun. Everything from a .32 cap & ball to an 8-Bore Shotgun- with the odd throwing axe and Bowie knife thrown about.
I placed third in the muzzle-loading sillouette section and I'm pleased with that- especially shooting against guys who have been doing this since these guns were standard issue!
Even the couple of downpours failed to dampen spirits.
And now I have a heap of gear to clean!

Stampeding towards insanity!

"An off-duty police officer has been disciplined after stopping a boy who appeared to be tagging a public toilet.
Police say officers are increasingly reluctant to intervene if they see crimes being committed while they are off duty, fearing they may face charges as a result of their actions..."

More details on this Bullshit!

It seems apparent now, that police management is now in total thralldom to the Liarbour sisterhood.

The police force is being managed into becoming a pussywhipped shadow of its former self. All because of a small percentage of thugs with a penchant for grubby sex and (probably nearer the mark) because of long grudges held by leftie politicos after recieving a twating during the 1981 madness and before that, the Vietnam war protests.

They are going to wind up like the police of the future in "The Demolition Man"!

But they can still issue tax invoices/traffic tickets!

Prize for the most creative reply

Good Day Wayne WatsonThis is a personal email directed to you and I request that it be treated as such. I must solicit your Confidentiality and assure you that I am contacting you in good faith and this proposal will be of mutual benefit. I am Scott Bailey, a solicitor at law. I am the personal attorney/sole executor to the late Mr. Robert Watson hereinafter referred to as my client who worked as an independent oil magnate in my country. He died in a car crash with his immediate family in East London on the 5th of November 2001.My late client, a former Sub-Comptroller working with Chevron Texaco Oil here in the United Kingdom and had Left behind a deposit of Nine Million Eight Hundred Thousand British Pounds Sterling only (£9.8million) with a bank. After the death of my client, the finance company contacted me being his attorney to provide his Next of kin who will inherit his fortune and this according to them is their policy in sure circumstances.Since the death of my client, I have written several letters to the embassy with intent to locate any of his extended relatives whom shall be claimants/beneficiaries of his abandoned personal estate and all such efforts have been to no avail. I had to inform the finance company about my fruitless effort in locating my late client close relative or his next of kin.The board of directors of the company just adopted a resolution and i was mandated to provide his next of kin for the payment of this money within the next 15 official working days or forfeit the money as an abandoned funds. The company had planned to invoke the abandoned property policy of the company to confiscate the funds after the expiration of the period given me. Also I have received official letters in the last few days suggesting a likely proceeding for confiscation of his abandoned personal assets in line with existing laws of the institution. However I have reason very professional and I can use a legal means to present a next of kin of my deceased client. This is legally possible and would be done in accordance with the laws of the land. On this note I decided to search for a credible person and finding that you bear a similar last name, I decided to contact you, that I may, with your consent present you to the "Trustees" as my late client's family member as to enable you put up a claim to the bank in that capacity as a next of kin of my client.I find this possible for the fuller reasons that you are of the same nationality and you bear a similar last name with my late client making it a lot easier for you to put up a claim in that capacity. I have all vital documents that would confer you the legal right to make this claim and would make them available to you so that the proceeds of this bank account valued at £9.8million can be paid to you before it gets confiscated or declared unserviceable to the bank where this huge amount is lodged.I do sincerely sympathize over the death of my client but think it is unprofitable for his funds to be submitted to the government of this country or some financial institution. My aim is to retrieve these funds and let it be claimed by someone with the deceased family name. For this I seek your assistance since I have been unable to locate the relatives for the past 5year nowI seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased since you have the same last name giving you the advantage so that the proceeds of this account can be paid to you and then both of us can share the money, 60% to me and 40% to you. I know there might be other persons out there with the same surname as my last client, but after a little check my instinct tells me to contact you. Can I trust you on this? I shall assemble all the necessary documents that will be used to back up your claim.I guarantee that this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. I will not fail to bring to your notice that this proposal is hitch-free and that you should not entertain any fears as the required arrangements have been made for the completion of this transfer.Like I said, i require only a solemn confidentiality on this. Please get in touch with me by my alternative email esqscottbailey03@hotmail.com for better confidentiality and send to me your telephone and fax numbers to enable us discuss further on this transaction. My contact number is +44-762-417-2575. If this proposal is acceptable by you, do not take undue advantage of the trust I have bestowed in you, Thanks for your understanding.Kind Regards.Scott Bailey.+44-762-417-2575.N.BWhen calling you dial your country calling code which I think is 011+my number (+44-762-417-2575. That is (011+44-762-417-2575). You can also confirm the code from your service provider
I was going to ignore it, as is usual, but if anyone has a idea for a reply, I will send it!

I was going to offer him a really good deal on the Harbour bridge!

Jury duty is one of those tasks I am exempt from- in fact I have never done it- not that I would activly avoid it! (Although I have gotten a few out of it!)

I was exempted as Armed Services and it seem the flag was never removed from my name. Then after a stint in Corrections I got a 'Get out of Court Free' for life.

It would see that Corrections types have a poor opinion of our underclass. Only because we do, mind!

Hurling stuff

I was thinking along the line as the chaps in the above picture, who are happily flinging grenages further than the chaps in the other trench..

'Hmmm- this Onager can really fling stuff- maybe we need a projectile that explodes'Trouble is, when bits break off- like the throwing arm- Mr Bomb is not your friend.

Even a small one!

Maybe flinging concrete balls will be enough excitement!

On Police

I see the perennial protesters all turned out to have a crack at their old arch-enemy- the police.

The feral wimmin looked like the usual mob that appear for the usual tired greenie /anti-establishment excused to behave badly.

Do yourselves a favour and get outside the courtroom of the foul bitch that abandoned a child in the bush- or the ones that look on while the piece of shit they are shagging abuses or kills their kids. You might get a litle support for that.

To blame a such a large group (the police) for the UNPROVEN sins of a tiny minority 25 YEARS ago is just bullshit. Predictably, these fembots are all into 'Collective Guilt"- which lefties like to wear as a badge.

Ever hear that group blame crap elsewhere?
All [insert ethnicgroup of choice] are criminals, lazy, smelly, deadbeats...

I think what is really abhorant to these types is sex involving a living penis!

A worthy cause to consider supporting

I have often ranted on the subject of welfare.

I have occasionaly explained that my rantings only concern the parasites that freeload off us all- as a matter of lifestyle choice.
So why do they bug me so much?
Because the are stealing from the genuine cases who need help. Those who deserve the 'Gold-Plated' welfare option. The disabled who have been dealt a shit hand in life.
For them, I would happily pay my taxes- even if they were voluntary!
Intensive teaching/tutoring with Asperger's has been shown to get results and so many of these kids are very talented. The talent just needs unlocking.
I have a child who is at the other end of the ASD spectrum. He is one of the ones who actually recieves funding to help at school. Funding we gratefully recieve and accept.
I'm just hoping he will talk one day.
So I put the politics of another blogger aside- this is about a child who needs help and will do well from it.

Mr Helicopter is not your friend

Turkey Shoot Iraq style!

Update:

I found more info. on this clip- it wasn't a helo as the first link indicated.

This video was taken from an AC130 Specter gunship (plane) two and a half miles away. The guys in the picture are setting up a roadside bomb and planning to ambush an American convoy that followed a short while after the pictures were taken. They were setting up for the ambush and were pacing off the distance the bomb to where the convoy was to pass by.

They were hit with a 40mm cannon. Which is a real shooter when you turn on the laser!

A New Toy!

I have finally had enough of cranking the Mossberg pump-action with a dud wrist and traded it in.

I have replaced it with a semi-auto 20-guage as seen here:

None of this steel shot nonsense with the 20-gauge, as they are exempt! (so far)

I have wanted one of these since I tested one out last year!

Masterton KFC

Two words:

Don't Bother.

The wife caved in to pestering kids and brought 'food' there.

The have matched the rock bottom standards of McD's and started to dig!

One burger was the wrong one, the buns were missing, the dipping sauce was also absent. The latter was sorely missed as the 'chicken' was rock-hard. The chicken popcorn was more like buckshot!

Of course this was only discovered once they got home- 40 minutes from the damned shop.

I await the response to my caustic email!

Cat Blogs

One for Murray

The descent towards La-La Land picks up speed

"After 50 years of being regarded as one of the good things in Kiwi life, Girl Guide biscuits go on sale today fighting a new image as too-sweet baddies.

The biscuits are 25 per cent sugar, and because of this, Nelson's Garin College has banned them and Green Party health spokeswoman Sue Kedgley wants the Guides to change the recipe..."

When will schools stick to doing what they are strugging with- teaching kids to read, write and add up a couple of numbers?

Not friggin' dictate bad food-good food. THAT is the job of parents.

It seems that the role of parent is more and more being taken over by the state. Now nanny wants you to keep their fingers out of the biscuit tin, but you can't slap those fingers away!

Solution? simple- ban the biscuits!
Well, screw you kedgely ya fascist food nazi!- I'm going to buy an extra couple of packets this year AND send them to school with my boys!
I might even butter them- that used to be my favorite way of enjoying a GG biscuit!

Situations for the Vacant

Are you a?

Disfunctional individal with a massive chip on your shoulder?
Unable to relate to other people?
Have a permanantly pessimistic outlook on Life, The Universe and Everything?
A total anal-retentive

If you have:

A permanant lemon-sucking look
No manners
No gratitude
No social graces whatsoever
No talent for anything productive or useful

And like to:

Endlessly find fault
Torment others with petty nit-picking
Feel despised

While being well- paid for it!

Your local council has a position for you!

Perhaps they could move to france!

The poor are whining again.

here:

Housing is too expensive, they say.

'...Moe Pulelua shares her kitchen with 11 other families but she says emergency housing is better than the street.
"If we want to go to a rent house it's too expensive for us," she says..."

There are reasons that rentals are expensive. Tenants in these areas tend to be hard on other people's property (Their own too, for that matter!)

Landlords have to make a profit, or renting is pointless.

In any case, why should one have what they cannot pay for?

What 'right' do they have to demand more than that?

For most of the 3rd world migrants- take a big cup of STFU. Where you came from, a garage with a concrete floor was modern apartment living!

Garages are dry, cheap clothes are available from the salvos and other do-gooders- that covers warmth and the garden tap provides water as good as that in the million dollar upmarket mansion.

Lastly- consider moving out of Auckland- there is lots of work in the country. (unfortunatly it is WORK!)

Eat Electrons Punk!

"Seven of the eight people stunned by taser guns suffered no lasting harm, MPs were told today.

Police today briefed Parliament's law and order select committee on its controversial 12-month trial of taser stun guns, begun on September 1 last year..."

Link:

Greenie crim-hugger Keith Locke is still predicting doom and gloom if Tasers keep being used, but thats what Greenies do! (I wonder what the Carbon Footprint of a 50,000 volt Taser is?)

"...Mr Locke also questioned whether tasers were used to make offenders comply with police, citing one case where the offender had been tasered after he had been pepper sprayed..."

No shit Sherlock!- Thats what its all about!

"Put down the jawbone and lie on the ground!"

Following the example of the notorious CYFSWATCH post, perhaps said MP could be first given a dose of C&R, then a sound drubbing with a baton, THEN he could be tasered by way of differentiation. Perhaps even a 9mm slug or two could be thrown in- just to give a comparison of all options!

I would pay good money to watch THAT show!

Full Moon already?

You just know its going to be a bad day when your phone goes off at 0545!

Apparantly there is a major water leak.

Soon after I arrive at the site. The pump shed is in darkness, so I reach to the right side of the door and turn on the light.

'Daaa- how did you do dat?'

Its white mans magic AKA electricity- idiot. I can see how this job is going to go.

The massive leak- a hose has been left running. Turn tap clockwise- water stops. Of couse if the light had been turned on, Zippy the Wonder Slug could possibly have figured that one out.

Or if he had stayed the hell out of the shed, I would have sorted the problem out when I arrived at 0700.

There are few things more destructive that an industrious idiot.

That set the trend for the day.

The next was a major chemical spill- real Union Carbide vs India stuff. It was a film ofSoda Ash-slightly less toxic than salt- on a car park. I would have put the hose on it until it went away, but council types need a more impressive and far more expensive act of contrition.

Call up the sucker truck to remove the offending white stones and exorcise the demons.

Then the really important part- find somebody to blame for the spill.

Another 16 days of being the 'On Call...'

NCEA

Some creative answers to various questions are posted on Kea Blog.

Some of these remind me of answers I have submitted for various exams.

Like the one where they asked about protective devices (without specifying that they should be for electronic circuitry)

Or the 300-word essay where 280 of the words were 'Bang'!

Hey- It worked for him!

" Mussolini may have done many brutal and tyrannical things; he may have destroyed human freedom in Italy; he may have murdered and tortured citizens whose only crime was to oppose Mussolini; but 'one had to admit' one thing about the Dictator: he 'made the trains run on time.'"

(Actually- he didn't, but like our powers-that-be, claimed credit for the work of others)
Snopes:

"Bus passengers are being promised sweeping law changes offering them better odds of getting picked up on time, and by clean and safe vehicles.

The Government intends giving the Auckland Regional Transport Authority, and councils elsewhere in New Zealand, wide powers to set standards for all urban bus and ferry services.

The tough new measures will be imposed regardless of whether the services are run commercially or with subsidies from the public purse.

Regional councils will be able to deregister commercial services which fail to keep to their timetables. Ministry of Transport officials are working on an incentive and penalty regime to apply before that happens..."

There is some interesting, if rather predictable, commentary here:

The usual knee-jerk comentary for the pro's seems to be "Good 'They' are doing something about the problem'

Are 'they'? How are the buses to move on hopelessly inadequate roads, for one.

Then there is this problem with public transport. The public use it.

The smell inside a train or bus on a wet day reminds me of stock trucks or prison wings. Asuming 90% of the public are aware of personal hygiene, that leaves the other 10%. Add drunks, druggies, the permanently baffled and screaming urchins- I'm reminded of why I don't like India as a place to live!

Another is simple economics. It costs more- so what would the MOT Benito clones answers be?
penalise motorists even more, perhaps?

You can bet on it!

The market will sort this out!

"The fashion label which produced a T-shirt range to raise money for Auckland's Starship children's hospital is also selling kid's tees emblazoned with "Future Porn Star"..."

Link:

Of course there is a call for the inevitable banning.

But why?

Ask yourselves how many parents would actually buy one of these, especially at $45!

Stuff that Liarbour loves to hear

"Many New Zealanders are not saving for their retirement and don't plan to join the Government's KiwiSaver scheme when it launches - but they want to be forced to save.

The indication that Kiwis are reluctant to fully embrace saving unless they really have to has come in a Herald DigiPoll survey about retirement savings..."

Link:

I'm sure they will oblige the sheeple...

That's what I call a sentence!

"BATAVIA, Ohio - A judge sentenced a woman Thursday to 54 years to life in prison for causing the death of her 3-year-old developmentally disabled foster son by leaving him bound cocoon-like in a closet..."

Link:

Sometimes one comes across an act of cruelty that you just can't get it out of your head.

This is one of them.

I hope that 54 years will be done in a VERY SMALL cell. A few years in a straightjacket would be in order, too!

A couple of points:

The US knows haw to come up with a proper penalty for such a despicable act.

The US also would seem to have the same problem we have here. Foster children are at risk with their 'Carers' provided by state agencies.

Maybe we would be better off with orphanages...

Book Two finished

On Traffic

The uniformed branch of the IRD's threat has been carried out. I have seen the local copper outside of all the local schools at start & finsh times this week. At least his patrolling has been during actual school times. Not at 5pm!

It's one of those things that most say 'Well-fair enough!'

But is it really anything other than 'common sense' policing? Perhaps if the police weren't so politically driven, this migt well have been the sort of thing they would be doing, as a matter of course?

I do a lot of driving , for a living. I clock up about 60k a year- most of that within a 30k radius of the depot.

I see a a hell of a lot of what goes on on our roads. During the DAY, the worst group is the grey haired bowls-club type of driver. (I can tell that by the hat in the back windscreen!)

They fail to give way, fail to travel at the road speed and even worse- give way when they have the right of way!.

The time that I sit at intesections waiting for the blue-rinse set to bugger off. I'm loosing at leat 1/2 an hour for these types to bimble though intersections each day!

You ratepayers are picking up the tab for this!

On the subject of Mad Cow's Disease:

Hat Tip to Cowboy Blob

We've found a Witch- may we burn her?

Here is the post uber-contol freak Sue 'I know Best' Bradford is bleating about:

Tuesday, 20 February 2007

Safe to say that this person is NOT a fan of Sue Bradford.
Anonymous writes:
I have just viewed the interview on TV with Sue Bradford and her Bill to ban smacking. She looked mentally ill and sounded delusional - her equating a rugby tackle with assault was an indication of just how unwell this woman really is. Such a cognitive distortion is evidence of historical psychological trauma, most likely related to either sexual abuse or rape.

Sue sees no difference between a parent smacking their children, and the awful assaults that have been perpetuated on children that are now dead.Since Sue cannot tell the difference, I would like the opportunity to drive my fist straight into her face as hard as I can, hopefully breaking her nose or jaw in the process. As she is lying on the ground, blood and mucous pouring profusely from her nose and mouth, I would then give her a light smack on her substantial arse, and ask her "Now Sue, is the difference a little more clearer to you?".

If ever someone needed a beating, it is this sociopathic witch. She is projecting her own allergy to correction or any form of discipline onto the families of New Zealand, so that our kids can end up as sick as she is.Bradford is a worthy candidate for NZ's first political assassination - I only wish I had the resources to do it.

The story of the complaint is Here:

Ain't it just ironic that someone who has been a lifelong enemy of the police cries out for them as soon as she percieves a threat to her own wide arse!

And to correct the CYFSWATCH poster- you BURN a witch- not beat her!

Continued:

But really- if that is a graphic threat she hadn't heard one before. In the prison service, we got FAR worse threats, far more often. Unfortunatly, the police were too busy to run about protecting us- and recieving the same sort of threats. The powers-that-be were certainly none to concerned for OUR welfare!

Before we consign the poster to bunk up with Tim- As I interpret the message- all the poster is really saying is that he wants stupid sue to understand the diffence between a spanking and a right twating!

As for the last bit- it may be a minor point of language but they did say a 'Political Assasination'

This is not the same thing as a banger through the head while driving in an open-topped limo.

Political Assasination consists of mud-slinging and getting it to stick!

I'm sure a defense lawyer would see it so!

That's it- We are Fooked!

"An asteroid may come uncomfortably close to Earth in 2036 and the United Nations should assume responsibility for a space mission to deflect it, a group of astronauts, engineers and scientists said on Saturday.

Astronomers are monitoring an asteroid named Apophis, which has a 1 in 45,000 chance of striking Earth on April 13, 2036..."

Here:

The UN!

Oh yeah- pull the other one FFS!

The are about as much use as the average small-town Borough Council, when it comes time for action!

They couldn't organize a bonk in downtown Bangkok with a sack of Krugerrands!

Shall we have a reality check?

The USA will do it- probably aided by Russia.

The UN will sit about passing resolutions and working out how to move funding to their Swiss bank accounts.

Get a man on the job- not a monkey on a stick!

My Spidey Sense is tingling

...about the whole Tim Selwyn issue.

OK- he's a crook- this has been proven- no arguments there.
And this is from someone who's opinions on crime & punishment run to the harsh side of severe!

But hang on- is he a great threat to members of our society/
No.

So why is it that so many others that ARE get non-custodial sentences?

If anyone should get Home D, it is the Tim Selwyn type of offender.

Why is it that so many others do a string of similar crimes yet get concurrent sentences- While for once someone (Tim S.) gets a consecutive sentencing?

So why don't our recidivist offenders get the microscope put over THEIR unsavoury lives and nailed for each and every offense found to have occured historically?

One could be forgiven for thinking that Tim has been singled out for 'Special Attention'!

So... careful with that Axe Eugene!

Dumbass kids & punishment

The soft-cocks and hand-wringers have had their go at 'rehabilitation and education' and it is FUBAR out there.

Thanks very much, assholes!

Here is another one that won't pick up the tab for his actions.

"...A three-year-old girl remains in an induced coma in Auckland's Starship Hospital after being hit by a car driven by a learner driver in the North Shore suburb of Torbay on Thursday. The girl was with three others, two aged eight and one aged five, and the grandmother of one of the girls, when a Toyota Celica driven by a 15-year-old boy ploughed into them..."

I know one family that won't want to go soft on this young shit-head...

The is probably at least one other that should be taking the heat as well. Where did he get the car? 15 year olds don't tend to have a lot of money.

Flogging him to within an inch of his life would be a good start to his long and arduous punishment!

Left Field

"Embattled Mangere MP Taito Phillip Field has resigned from the Labour Party. Mr Field held a press conference in Auckland on Friday to outline his future plans. He has been expelled from the Labour Party caucus and said he intended to return to Parliament as an independent MP, but would still support the Labour Government..."

Story:

What a fucknuckle! I was listening to him burbling on the radio- Claiming he was a convienient target for an attack the liarbour party. Then immediatly going on to state that Liarbour were also picking on him!

So everybody is attacking him and of course they are all wrong.

'And dey breeching my hooman rites!'

Ya useless brown slug, they are all after you because you are as bent as a dogs back leg! (and failed to kowtow to Hellen)

Practice your right to silence- it can only help your case!

Now will we finally get to see what we deserve to see?- another bent MP in jail

I do hope so- I liked the idea in a Terry Prachart Book (Lost Continent, I think) where politicians were put in jail as soon as they were elected- it saved time!

More Cotton Wool Wrapping...

It appears people might get lost out in the bush!

"...Deaths and "near misses" involving trampers in Arthurs Pass National Park have prompted the Department of Conservation to place clearer signs marking walking tracks..."

Story Here:

Why not put in paved tracks with lighting and handrails? Hell, we need disabled access too!

These are MOUNTAINS- they are meant to be rough, rugged and dangerous. The weather is extreme and if you are not well prepared they will KILL you.

If people aren't up to these conditions, they should stick to walking around the golf course- or better still, take a golf cart!

If they are so dumb as to believe that they can bimble about the mountainside in an area famous for it's extreme weather, Darwinian selection is what they deserve!

To save the bloody Townies from themselves, I suppose DOC will be requiring certification and a permit to enter the area, as the next step.

DOC- leave them to their own devices. As we have no Bears, Snakes or Cougars- there is only the weather and gravity to weed the loopies out!

Dueling is not a socialist tradition

This is explained in

"...Only gentlemen were considered to have honor, and therefore qualified to duel. If a gentleman was insulted by a person of lower class he would not duel him but would beat him with a cane or whip or have his servants do so..."

No Honour, no duel.

So- a good whipping is call for!

Good- stay on the other bloody side of the hill!

"Retiring Labour MP Georgina Beyer has given a strong indication she will seek the Wellington mayoralty later this year.

Ms Beyer, who was the first transsexual elected to Parliament, stands down tomorrow to take up acting roles in the theatre..."

More:

Achievements in Parliament at our considerable expense were:

Asked what contribution she had made to politics, Ms Beyer said her election had sent a message around the world.
"Just my election and my being here spoke volumes of how attitudes on moral issues and attitudes towards people who may be a little different and unusual in this environment have definitely moved on."

The only message I got is what a lazy and useless individual it was! Just another seat-filler to rubber stamp Dear Leader's wishes.

Wellington is welcome to have this gelding as mayor!

V for Vendetta

It's a shame the noble art of Dueling is no longer allowed!

If one had to back up one's comments with sword or pistol, I believe we would have a more civil world.

Here is a case in point, over remarks made on Kiwiblog.

The gauntlet has been thrown down.

Will we get to see roadkill?

UPDATE:

No, we won't see roadkill as one party has no honour!

Typical of persons who like to throw shit about, when called out they cry out that they are a pacifist and would never stoop to physical combat! Having personally met the other party, the roadkill has probably made the first smart call in his life...

Such a person should be branded a coward and shunned from the company of his betters!

I believe once they would have been horsewhipped out of town...

Liar!, Liar!

Dear Leaders big denial takes another hit.

Dr Grant had better watch his funding! it may be shrinking soon...

Then at the other extreme-this!

It seems our kids are either Starvin' Marvin or Cartman!

Perhaps they should all be taken from us and raised in state institutions.

But then NZ is heading to be one big state institution anyway....

Unreality TV

Sustainability being the current buzzword, How many more friggin' 'Treasure Island' shows can NZ's couch potatos endure? Take away the hope a tit will fall out or somebody might bonk someone else and its all over!

The show going in the background here just showed the eye candy trying to trade for fire.

FIRE????

EVERY but EVERY primitive culture has managed to make it!

Rubbing sticks together- rocket science it ain't.

Then I had a thought.

This show could be hilarious if we could see a bunch of academics in this sort of setting-schoolteacher types for preference.

I bet they wouldn't manage to find fire!

And it wouldn't be pretty!

ROTFLMAO!

Can you retard greenies try to remember this next you thrust your collective tongues up Liarbour's arse?

Is that too hard for you to do?

They are not your friends either!

But I do give you credit for pointing out this wee inconsistency in Liarbour's peacenick front!

News and non-news

A bimbo, one Anna- Two-Fathers whatsehername, dies under suspect circumstances.

Big deal, so what?

Such things keep worthless jorunos & talking heads in employment but most of us couldn't give a toss.

Yawn:

it seems significant that this appears in the entertainment section!

Update:
The are talking about us on MSM here. Of course we are wicked and callous as opposed to the MSM paragons of virtue! Up yours you wankers!

But in the real world (mine, anyway) something significant did happen today!

The 'Ball & Chain' found my collection of Biggles books!

An old evil revisited

The 4WD.

Owned by evil Tories, hell-bent on dominating the roads, using too much fuel and single-handedly bringing down global warming on us all.

Crushing helpless infants in their blind spots, while congesting inner city parking. (according to tonights tv attack on vehicles- sorry- no link)

So of course I have one!

Then you get this crap. Of course they turn over easier. Simple bloody physics (oh!- Riiiight...)

So drive the damned thing properly and it won't fall over. They have blind spots- all cars do - do a bloody walk-around before you get in! Situational Awareness people- get your heads out of your arses!

Least someone passes a new law...

Hoist by her own Petard...

Prime Minister Helen Clark and Education Minister Steve Maharey rejected as unsubstantiated claims by the Poverty Action Group and children's charity KidsCan that up to 15,000 primary pupils were going to school hungry each day.

But her own Ministry of Health says 80,000 ! be afraid MOH salary-monkeys- you have made a very bad enemy- who remembers these offenses and is more vindictive than Jabba The Hut!

So who exactly is blowing smoke out their ass?Personally,I believe the the 80k figure would be an exaggeration. My kids have permanantly hollow legs and get through more tucker than a small African village. Then there is the bit with kids arsing about before school and missing out if you don't crack the whip a bit.

But there is no doubt that there are plenty who do go hungry on a regular basis. Find a teacher whom you know to be a real person and not a moonbat- they are out there!- and ask her!

And now I have heard here that John Minto thinks that giving hungry school children food is 'deeply patronising to their families.'

Perchance they will all be refusing to accept any benefits they might be on?

Declining their Working For Families bribe money?

Or does their pride not run that deep?

If my kids were genuinly hungry, my pride would not be up for consideration...

Loopies abound!

It's that time of year again- fools with more money than sense go looking for non-existant bargins at the Martinborough Fair. This is the day that Martinborough turns into a clip-joint to put Queenstown to shame! (The rest of the year they just get by selling overpriced wine)

http://www.martinboroughfair.org.nz/

Like so many of these events, it got off to a great start- crafters selling their products for good prices and spitting in the eye of the taxman.

Not now.

The price of a stall has all but driven out the small crafters and now many of the stalls are just tables containing the contents of somebody's shop.

There won't be a lot of bargins to be had- just a long wait in a traffic jam and crowds of sweaty shoppers and children behaving badly. 'Cold' drinks will be at least double the usual price-as will be the hot chips & hotdogs that people perversly insist on buying when the temperature is in the mid-thirties.

The high point would be the beer tent.

As i can buy the beer locally, I will give the fair a miss...

More on the Evil Empire- CYFS

I'm like a lot of people out there. I have never had any direct dealings with CYFS.

That's the way I want to keep it!

Some years ago, when I was a volunteer Ambulance Officer, I did a training course on professional ethics (AKA Tree-Hugging & Whale-Kissing)

The subject of reporting child abuse came up and the consensus was that we had to be REAL clear on what we had seen before making such a report. This was backed by several long-standing members who had been involved in such incidents. There experiences with CYFS were totally negative and they urged us newer folks to be so very careful about involving these goons!

Once Nanny's apparatus are called out, there is no calling them off!

I'm glad I never had to make that call!

Now all I have to worry about is kids turning up to school with a couple of bruises- as kids get!- and being reported. That is a very real worry to all thinking parents out there. more than a few have made a similar comment. And now you know why so many kids lack discipline- their parents are too bloody scared that thier kids will say something and will then be removed!

Some officious teacher/wannabe social worker taking a remark out of context or the fact the a kid is always hungry (as many are, regardless of what you feed them!) means they are neglected.

After all, us nice middle-class types are far easier target's than a truly abused kid in a gang house. We don't tend to stomp on your head.

Just attack you through blogs...

No more Mr Nice Guy!

The gloves are off over at CYFSWATCH

They have upped the stakes and posted a *MOST INTERESTING* piece about Panty-Slut Boy.

Follow the link above to read all the sordid details!

Update:

The article has been removed, for reasons of copyright. having seen some well-reasoned arguments for and against, I'm now of the opinion that the CYFSWATCH site was not the right place for that post.

Keeping the moral high ground only strengthens the site's case. Although I understand the need for some folks to vent!

I must get photoshop!

Then I wouldn't need to plagiarise stuff like this!

Hat Tip- http://cowboyblob.blogspot.com/

Bloody do-gooders

In the Wairarapa, Trust House own most of the liquor outlets, a string of supermarkets and a lot of ex-housing corp properties.

The deal is that profits are returned to the community via donations. The tend to be expensive and often the only game in town, but shoppers are free to vote with their money and chose to use them or not.

That is fairly much as it should be, as they don't have monopolies on state-controlled services like the bottle shops.

My problem is with their rental properties.

Being a bunch of do-gooders, they rent to those the private market would shun, just like their predecessors.

So what happen- the shit of the world moves in to lower cost housing- more money to spend in thebottle shops and tinnie houses. This is one major reason for the crime in Masterton- it's no co-incidence that about 25% of Rimutaka prison used to name their home town as Masterton!

Some time ago, I did some work in East Masterton. We needed an extra guy just to stay with the trucks and keep the local blowflies off. In the early afternoon, parties were in full swing and a quick glance showed that the teeth to tattoo ratios were all bad. I have had quite a few near-miss incidents driving in these parts of town, as feral children roam free.

These cheap rental houses are not doing our communities any favours, unlike what this plonker thinks. You mean well, but are attracting human refuse into our district. Keep your socialist aspirations to providing pensioner accomodation.

I don't want your failed experiment in my town!

Cry me a river...

"The country's youngest killer cried during his recent Parole Board hearing, his mother says. Bailey Junior Kurariki, 17, was sentenced at age 13 to seven years' jail in 2002 for the manslaughter of Auckland pizza deliverer Michael Choy, who was fatally beaten with a baseball bat in 2001.

The Parole Board last week denied him an early release. His mother, Lorraine West, told the Sunday Star Times her son cried during last Tuesday's hearing, and that he knew within the first 10 minutes he was not going to be freed.

Ms West claimed a member of the Parole Board referred to him as "thinking he was a film star" and asked how he would deal with media attention when released. Her son said he did not know but West jumped to her feet and told the board she would pull the film from any photographer's camera, She was told to sit down but did not ..."

Continues:

You would be friggin' blubbing If I ever got to pass sentence, you piece of shit!

You are a mad dog that is too dangerous to live and I would have you put down at the first opportunity. No fuss, no drama, just a swift appointment with Jack Ketch.

From the sounds of it, members of your family could use a little hemp osteopathy as well..

Moving house

Today was spend helping with a house move and I'm knackered and in severe need of beer!

House moving would have to be one of my least favorite jobs and that includes doing things with septic tanks or human remains.

But a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!

There is a saying that two house moves equates to a house fire.

There is something to be said for burning down the house & starting afresh!

But I didn't tell you to do that and make sure your insurance is paid up!

Cool toys!

The latest mob control weapon should have the greenies and weenies squealing like scalded piggies!

An interesting precident is being set

The inability of a well-resourced and particularly agressive government department to shut down CYFSWATCH (so far) has interesting implications for all Bloggers ('cat blogs' and any left-leaners exempted).

The powers-that-be have been prodded with a pointed stick and they don't like it up 'em!

It's no secret that they don't like us and would like us to STFU and this is the most concerted effort so for to make it happen.

They might shut CYFSWATCH down, but it will soon be back elsewhere. it's ironic and amusing that all the fuss about this site has just pushed its exposure through the roof!

As they don't have any tanks to send in- anyone like to take a bet on some new legislation coming up soon?

Damned Elusive Comet!

Every night I go out looking, the bloody clouds have moved in! Where where they when I was being grilled under the midday sun?

Still, the one look at it that I did get was better than that miserable Halley's Comet- and every other one that has come along since. I spent many hours freezing up on the Port Hills looking for Haley's Comet and I'm still not sure I actually saw it!

Tonight, perhaps...

More blood on Corrections hands!

Corrections is an inherently dangerous job- unless you are management, of course.

Example:

There is one person who could have used the stab-resistant vests that are freely available on the market.

That Corrections management continues to procrastinate over purchasing. This was being talked about when I was in Corrections four bloody years ago!

This sort of kit has been out there for years and for police and corrections not to have it is, IMNSHO, criminally negligent. After all, if a worker was injured due to lack of safety boots, hard hat or eye protection, OSH would be down on them like a ton of bricks.

But when the employer is the government, it seem that anything goes.

And don't get me started on the scandalous state of our military's equipment...

The Monopoly on Caring and the Political Left

Kiwiblog reports yet another overseas example of a "filthy richer" giving away all his loot. The NZ political left believe they have the monopoly on caring through charity and gift giving. Of course it is far easier to be charitable when you are doing it with other people’s money..."

Clamp me- I dare ya!

You do see some interesting things down my street, but an M41 tank is one of the more unusual ones!

I was hoping that they might let the handbrake off and let it sort of flatten the house to the right of the picture, along with the oxygen-theives that 'live' there...

Any suggestions for an amusing caption?

Blogger Drinks?

Code Brown

I have just returned from a call out to deal with a 'Floater' in one of the public swimming pools.

For some reason the ditzoid lifeguard couldn't deal with a simple bit of excrement. (it's meant to be part of their job)

It isn't rocket science- scoop the turd and disinfect the water in the vicinity with a large dose of Hypochlorite.

Now why is it I'm not a fan of public swimming pools? thats right- I have to service the damned things.

Some people are filthy swine. Like the subhamans that climbed the fence & shit in one of the pools last Saturday night. If you get caught, you will be going for a swim in the sewerage pons, seeing as that seems to be your thrill!

At least I have the advantage of knowing which of the three local pools have the lowest levels of bodily fluids in them...

One thing that should be brown here isn't - the grass. This is a boom year for hay- I've never seen so much growth. Global warming seems to be good for some!

But my lawn should be browned off by now, not still growing.

The Art of Politics

One of the main rules is to make little of the big events and much out of the small ones.

Evidence of this has been prominently displayed in the last few day (making much of little things) over the declaration of several blogger who have announced that they would rather be dragged buck naked through a blackberry tangle than go drinking with left-loving (or even any) bloggers.

That's their position (and MINE) What of it? What is there to make a big deal about?

Or did they dare to have a position on the matter and be non-PC and announce to the world "I don't friggin' love everyone under the sun!"

I believe that the world is comprised of about 20% arseholes, 79% drones and then there are the rest- some of whom I would actually enjoy having a drink with.

I have no desire or need to mix & mingle with the 'others' They don't interest me and are as likely to be 'converted' as a muslim is to take up raising hogs!

I've meet and talked to people from every kind of background in NZ. A far wider range than many will have met in the flesh.

I don't like most of them- but if you had read the blog header you would already know that!

'Rape Education'

This subject has drawn quite a few comments over at Lindsay's Blog.

Also, David Farrar has gotten a selection of comments on his site.

The big issue for me would be what do I teach my boys on this subject.

Lesson One- Knock some little tart up and you will be bleed dry by her agent, the IRD for the next twenty years. Forget about owning your own home and it's going to be an uphill battle finding a women of your own that will be forgiving of your past transgresssion.

Lesson Two- Once you have your condom on, you better be damned sure she wants to do this. She may be all fired up for it, but could easily cry 'Rape' when work gets back to her parents!
As she could at anytime in the future, should she get her nose out of joint over you!

Lesson Three- The judge will probably lean towards believing her tears. Prison is a bad place- a very bad place. Graphic descriptions of prison life follow for the next couple of hours.

Lesson Four- Intoxicated females are far less rational than sober ones. Avoid like the plauge!

Lesson Five- When you go drinking, go stag and TALK about girls. If you want to chase girls, stay sober- it's easier that way too!

Another one bites the dust!

Our useless employee chucked in the towel today- finally!

It must have been giving him a weedeater and telling him to put it to good use that did the job!

That's three since I have been there (100% turnover)

They all think the job is too hard & too stressful. Softcocks!- hell- nobody has even tried to kill me during the last year and I can't recall the last time I worked for 72+ hours straight- neither have I had to hire, fire or make anybody redundant, nor have I had to had to ventilate anybody or even stop a spurting artery!

Do that sort of job and tell me what stress is!

Can anyone tell me of a job out there that has zero or near to it stress?
