Home for the Unpleasant

White island- what a great spot for a maximum security prison!

Here is the deal- lifers mine sulfur which is exchanged for potatoes and cabbages. I think we still have enough of a Navy to keep them on the island and others off.

So occasionally the island goes critical and wipes everybody out. Big deal, so what...

Halfway houses

"The Parole Board chairman is urging halfway houses for sex offenders and inmates freed from long prison terms..."

I agree.

The Auckland Islands are about halfway to Antarctica.

No- they really are sheep!

There is something quite depressing about politics in New Zealand- and most other places at that.

The most depressing part is where the sheeple continue to mindlessly vote for the two main parties, regardless of how badly they have been shafted by the party they support! Note how many use the 'It was good enough for our fathers- and our fathers fathers' line. Heaven forbid they ever have an original thought.

At least these ones take a side, for whatever flawed reason. They will stick to their party even if their Dear Leader was found to smoke crack, strangle babies, hunt dolphins and wear underwear made of live kittens sewn together.

Then we have the cretins who flip-flop, not knowing whether they are Aurthur or Martha. These are the fucktards that the parties pander too- no wonder electioneering is FUBAR! They are called 'swinging voters' and they should be- by the neck until they don't do it anymore!

Can't you get out of the Liarbour/National Socialist box?

Probably couldn't get out of a cat's litterbox.

Then there are the politicans- a sad collection of Narcissists, Psychopaths, Sycophants, Tit-Suckers, Axe-grinders and the Self-Serving Onanists. I can never figure out why you need more than a twenty to run a county the size of NZ. Elsewhere in the world, our PM would be a mayor.

To me- anyone who makes a carreer out of slithering up the political ladder is the last person that should be there. The sort of person needed is one who a proven capable achiever who is tapped on the shoulder and- probably a bit reluctantly STEPS UP TO THE CHALLENGE TO SERVE.

The idea that everyone gets a vote- who came up with THAT feed of arse! You SHOULD have a stake in the game before you get a vote. Some criteria need to be present- one I like is to have been paid more tax than you have recieved in Welfare For Families, benefits, student payments etc. For the period since the last election. Be a socialist when you are young, like Churchill said- but you have to be a net producer to get a say!

Democracy need a few conditions set- then it might work!

When in Martinborough...

Martinborough- Weekend retreat to the trendy-wendies of wanker Wellington!

Stick to the wine.

The town water supply is a bore just a few meters from this river.

And the water is totally untreated.

Mysteries of the Universe

Can you split a greenie's brain?

This supercollider looks like the place to try!

What harm could it do?- that couldn't be fixed with a little carbon remover, anyway...

They just don't get it...

Most folks can't figure out the point of armed forces- well armed or moderately pathetic.

That is because the main reason for having them is brushed under the carpet.

Why do we have armed forces?

THE MAIN REASON is to keep the powers that be- the powers that be!

Now that doesn't take a lot. NZ's at their worst are up to that. Dealing to an armed insurrection.

The police are not, as they have the Blackadder belief that under no circumstances should the other side have firearms and won't go for anything without a 10-1 advantage!

A couple of companies of infantry suffice to beat the crap out of any of the possible NZ wannabees.

Our rulers fear that too strong an Army and they may take the Fiji option.

One that looks better all the time...

Essential viewing !

Get over to Whaleoil NOW and watch this video.

While it is still up!

Update:

I have now learned how to properly link video- having received the proper motivation!

Update 2:

On consulting with my wife- as she and my children could be dragged into this shit-fight, we have decided to err on the side of caution and remove the embedded video. The link remains.

It is a sad statement on what passes for free speech in NZ that one is forced to take such steps to cover ones arse and compromise ones principles. I can't afford to be dragged into the courts and the bully-boys on the politician's payroll well know this.

South Auckland AGAIN

"A weekend police blitz on drink drivers in Counties-Manukau has netted 220 drivers over the limit, with police horrified by the actions of the worst offenders...

In all, 9429 vehicles were stopped and drivers breath tested. Of those, 220 returned positive results and will face prosecution in the next fortnight..."

The same sort of rate as the last time I blogged on this.

In Wellington, last Christmas, police were 'disappointed' to snap less than ten drunks, so I suppose 'Horrified' is the right sort of word to use.

Especially if you too have to drive in this area!

"Police are committed to continue with this hard line approach to remove these high risk offenders to ensure safety for other road users."

I'm sure you are. Pity that the courts are not...

Right Honourable

An interesting choice

Like it or not, American politics affects each and every one of us.

I will be watching Sarah Palin with great interest.

She seem a cut above the usual in politics.

The sort of person we desperately need here!

Flogging- a start!

"Featherston residents are "outraged" over the theft of the plaque commemorating shooting victim Private Walter (Wattie) Pelvin, of Geraldine, the Wairarapa Times Age reported.

Ken Burgiss, of the Featherston Heritage Museum, said the thieves "are just low-life scum"..."

The time for the reintroduction of flogging is well overdue!

Along with a few other traditions, such as tar & feathers- for a first offense.

The pond slime that would steal a memorial for scrap are, in my not so humble opinion, so devoid of all moral worth that they are deserving of an eight minute dangle on the end of a hemp rope.

Bugger the Banning Brigade!

"Wairarapa District Health Board smokefree co-ordinator Linda Spence is keen to see councils adopt smokefree policies in parks..."

Yeah, right. Empty bloody words.

Right now dogs crap in the parks, meatheads smash staff up and use them as their toilet. What do the councils do about this- put up a notice?

Every day I watch dogs on leads- or not- being lead past the 'No Dogs' sign, to run about and crap on the sports fields. You will never see the local council so-called 'dogcatcher' doing a damned thing about it. That's the same one that was convicted in court of stealing a dog whilst on the job!

Will the ratepayers be paying for smoking police that are equally useless?

Will DOC jump on the bandwagon and ban smoking in the national parks?

I'm quite partial to smoking a pipe or cigar while sitting under a shady tree. If their minions are partial to their insides remaining on the inside- best learn to distinguish Borkum Riff Cherry Cavendish- and walk the other way!

Taser Time

Why we need Tasers- and I don't mean the police- I mean ALL of us who want them!

How those greenie arsewipe microbrain sheep-shaggers can say otherwise is beyond me!

Sort it out fucktard!

Christopher Robin and I walked along
Under branches lit up by the moon
Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore
As our days disappeared all too soon
But I've wandered much further today than I should
And I can't seem to find my way back to the Wood

So help me if you can
I've got to get back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh

Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do
Got a honey jar stuck on his nose
He came to me asking for help and advice
And from here no one knows where he goes
So I sent him to ask of the Owl if he's there
How to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear

It's hard to explain how a few precious things
Seem to follow throughout all our lives
After all's said and done I was watching my son
Sleeping there with my bear by his side
So I tucked him in, I kissed him and as I was going
I swear that the old bear whispered
"Boy welcome home"

Believe me if you can
I've finally come back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
What do you know
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin
Back to the ways of Christopher Robin
Back to the days of Pooh
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh.

Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do, got a honey jar stuck on his nose. He came to me asking help and advice and from here no one knows where he goes. So I sent him to ask of te Owl if he's there, how to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear So, help me if you can I've got to get back to the house at Pooh corner by one You'd be surprized there's so much to be done, count all the bees in the hive, chase all the clouds from the sky .

Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh, back to the days of Christopher Robin, back to the ways of Pooh

Do us a favour- open your veins in the bath or fire a banger throught your head, you freakin fucktard!

Now what sentence will this pervert get?

I'm betting way less than a cop who shags the town bike- who later sings rape- that's for sure.

If we had as many cops as teachers being done for kiddie-fiddling, there would be front page stories on every MSM rag!

We would be hearing outrage every night on the idiot box.

But cops don't tend to vote Liarbour so other standards apply....

Crime of the century!

"Olympic swimmers Dean Kent, Corney Swanepoel and Cameron Gibson were expelled from the New Zealand Olympic team following an unsavoury incident which embarrassed a teammate.

The three experienced Olympians took a photograph of the drunk teammate sitting on the toilet in a prank at a social function late last week before circulating it to other teammates..."

What is this?- a school camp!

Sounds like it's being run by a bunch of friggin' PC prissy schoolteacher types!

A photo of somebody pissed on the dunny! Get over yourselves ya bloody big girls blouses!

Now THIS is world class stuff!

Spinal injury breakthrough.

Never mind your piece of taxpayer funded tin- here is something with HUGE potential- for helping people AND making some serious money!

A correction...

Over here I wrote:

"...Then there is the collectivist bullshit about NEW ZEALAND winning- like every fat prick in a Lazyboy had anything to do with it!..."

on the subject of the Olympics.

Well, it appears that the fat prick in the lazyboy DID own a stake in the show, as did we all- to the tune of EIGHTY MILLION DOLLARS!

That's eighty megabucks taken from OUR pockets- eighty dollars from mine at $20 per head.

This is the sort of thing that Lotteries should be funding. Contributions in this manner being entirely voluntary.

Or do what other sports do and find a brewery to sponsor them!

The green swastika

On the subject of control freaks, a great little video clip on the party all rational folk love to hate

Greenie Mofos

Just a taste of the good stuff over at Libz TV

The Pink Swastika

Here we go- special treatment for a minority yet again!

"Australia's gay capital Sydney is set to try and enforce homophobia-free zones which may see clubs and hotels lose their licence if patrons commit homophobic abuse or violence, local media said..."

Hang on- abuse and violence are abuse and violence regardless of whom they are directed at.

What you assholes really want is an exclusion zone for white, working hetrosexual males. Put them somewhere away from all the 'nice' people where they can work and pay taxes to support the 'special' people...

Update:

This is how you get out of the 'Victim' category!

If you live somewhere that doesn't allow you to defend yourself- start getting political. In NZ that means here.

The spring is sprung

The grass has rized

and now it's friggin' spring cleaning time.

Unfortunately, this year cleaning has moved to the bedroom- still full of boxes of junk from when we moved- in 2004.

And I thought I was a bloody packrat!

It's actually a much bigger room than I thought- once you move the Marcos collection out...

Friday, August 22, 2008

ACT- you friggin' donkeys!

You do have to wonder what goes on in political circles.

When a minor party bumps a candidate- that people actually have head of before- way down the list where winning a seat would be like winning Powerball- you have to wonder what the fuck they are thinking.

Lindsay Mitchell has been the face of hard-core welfare reform for some years now. That's a tough role to take on in our PC-addled society and Lindsay has stood tall and faced down the emotive shrills with logic and well-researched arguments.

In business it is considered madness to dump an established brand. I can't see that politics is any different.

Over on her blog- and a few others- the ravings of some of the Actoid fanatics has taken on a tone as vile and contemptuous as the 'The party can do no wrong' dogma of The Standard's lickspittles.

Disgusting!

I have previously thought the the hard-core Libertarianz attitudes towards ACT were over the top, given that we were (supposedly) moving in the same direction and had defended ACT on occasion. I may have been wrong.

It looks like they are entirely driven by the barometer of the polls and are following the example of the National *Smurfs*

But if this is so, they lose sight of the NZr's out there desperate for meaningful, radical change to gather way more than 5% of the vote.

Drop the delusion of trying to win more than a seat or two and shoot for that party vote.

Least YOU join the 'Wasted vote' parties, as you supporters put it...

* Smurfs- Blue on the outside, pink in the middle

No friggin' mercy

Should be given to leftie creeps like Comrade Trotski.

Why welcome them to the world of blogging? Why give arseholes like him the time of day?

You don't walk up to the enemy and shake hands- in the real world. To paraphrase General Patton- you grab them by the nose and kick them in the balls! (not the pants- that was the toned down for the press version!)

They delight in deriding and belittling everything you believe in. BE INTOLERANT of them.

Show them no courtesy or fair speech.

They don't deserve any kind of respect. Not one iota of it.

Sort your own shit out!

"New Zealand's guest-worker scheme and multimillion-dollar aid programme have come under fire in a report claiming they are failing to lift Pacific nations out of poverty.

The report, by an Australian-based think-tank, comes as Prime Minister Helen Clark attends an annual summit of Pacific leaders in Niue, and it says the seasonal labour scheme may be contributing to the gap between rich and poor..."

Here's a thought;

SORT YOU OWN SHIT OUT!

You all want to play at sovereign nations, yet blame us for not fixing your screw-ups. These banana fiefdoms are like kids who want the rights and privileges of adults, yet shun all responsibilities.

Like all upstart kids, they need to be booted out of home to fend for themselves. If they want NZ and Australia to fund them, they need to take a big mug of shut the fuck up and let us run the show.

Not desiring my tax money to be flung into a bottomless pit, I support the first option!

The Phantom Pisser

Looks like somebody pissed on HIS head!

More PC bullshit- but dangerous bullshit!

"Accused rapists who plan to argue that sex with their victims was consensual may have to prove in court what measures they took to gain consent.

The proposal is one of three changes to sexual violence legislation being put forward by the Justice Ministry.

"Changing the law would send an important message about community standards and about what the law expects," ministry documents say..."

Now this proposal flies in the face of the principle of PROVING GUILT!

This demands the accused prove innocence. This is outrageous- it's yet another bit of 'Wimmin can do no wrong and all men are rapists' crap!

One more step toward the abyss...

Censorship?

Given that the news media love to parade all forms of human misery, I have been wondering what is behind their silence on the epidemic of suicides.

I live in a small town of about 2500, and as you do in small towns- you get to hear all the news that is news. Not just what is reported in the newspapers or on the box.

In the last twelve months I have heard of four suicides. That is definite bona-fide suicides. I'm not counting the ones that are hard to definitely call suicide- usually the vehicle assisted types.

Why are the media so reluctant to call these deaths what they are?

It's not like they are reluctant to post judgment on anything else or to be particularly sensitive to relatives of the self-destroyers.

Who is directing them not to use the 'S' word?

Sunday, August 17, 2008

Bad attitude!

"The High Court has put a block on the police practice of making drink-drivers pay for a doctor to take their blood samples.

The ruling by Justice Christine French is a win for Christchurch barrister Andrew Bailey and may mean urgent changes are needed to legislation, the Christchurch Court News website reported..."

Damned right they should be paying costs- if found guilty.

Another case of the legal system being nowhere near a JUSTICE system.

"...The ruling by Justice Christine French is a win for Christchurch barrister Andrew Bailey and may mean urgent changes are needed to legislation, the Christchurch Court News website reported.

Bailey's client was convicted in the District Court of drink-driving in March. He was fined $600 and ordered to pay court costs of $130, medical expenses of $102.60 and an analyst fee of $93, and disqualified from driving for six months..."

You were caught- if you had a pair you would man up and pay up. Here is a crime supposedly so bad the powers that be spend MILLIONS of our money campaigning against it, yet now the penalty has been further watered down from the slap on the hand he got.

Roll on the day when they hang the lawyers...

Saturday, August 16, 2008

Texas gets it!

"A Texas school district will let teachers bring guns to class this fall, in what experts said appeared to be a first in the US.

The board of the small rural Harrold Independent School District unanimously approved the plan and parents have not objected, said the district's superintendent, David Thweatt..."

Link:

Looks like somebody has figured out the this gun-free zone bollocks just sets the stage for a Turkey shoot!

Olympics

There are a ton of bollocks thrown about over this event. The need to upstage the previous host with the best fireworks display, fanciest stadium and the wankfest of the opening ceremony.

I can't be arsed with any of that. Nor do I care a rat's arse what muggins country hosts it. So the Chinese are a bunch of bastards who may send their losers to the organ farms. I'm not about to fall about wailing and gnashing my teeth over that.

Then there is the collectivist bullshit about NEW ZEALAND winning- like every fat prick in a Lazyboy had anything to do with it!

What needs doing- as with so many things- is to return back to basics. Chuck out the crap like bowls along with all the teams sports like hockey, basketball and soccer.

It SHOULD be about individual excellence. The teams sports can generally sod off, although events like team rowing and relays should remain.

The outstanding row by Mahe Drysdale is an example of what I find great about top competition. A magnificent effort to place third when off top form through illness!

The Second American Revolution

This video is outstanding!

Opiates for the masses

I was watching (not through MY choice!) the exercise in state-funded bad acting Shortland street/

All the nurses are 20 something's eye candy.

Every time I have had a stay in hospital the nurses have been 40+ and while not unattractive, did not look like they had come from their part-time modeling jobs. (I must add that they ALL looked mighty good when they were bringing me my morphine!)

I have been LUCKY! Give me age/experience over pretty every time when I'm under the knife!

I WANT a nurse that's been on the job for longer than a student has been alive!

I'm in a hospital- not a bordello!

The only thing that scares me more than a student nurse is a 25 year-old house surgeon with a catheter!

This post has been amended as I was inadvertently unkind to some of the best examples of humanity on this planet.

I'm sorry!

Death Star approaching

Now THIS is impressive!

The all-new Puff the Magic Dragon!

Vampire drains life from climber!

Here:

One good reason to watch the Olympics

'Nothing Makes Satan Happier Than the Olympics'

Dare to be different

It's great to see something just a bit different to the usual unimaginative box. By the look of the building- it should be quite affordable, too!

A fate worse than a fate worse than death...

"Four Beehive staff were decontaminated after white powder was delivered to Prime Minister Helen Clark's eighth-floor office...

...Emergency services went to the Beehive yesterday morning after a member of Miss Clark's staff opened the package. A spokesman said three of her office staff and one security guard in the room at the time were examined. Half of the eighth floor was evacuated and decontaminated..."

It is understood that staffers panicked when they thought they may have inhaled the powder, which at the time was thought to be Winston Peters with the shit kicked out of him.

More than meets the eye!

Who is the dumbarse here?

"A burglar, finding a Christchurch home so easy to break into, left the owners a note calling them "dumb arse" for not turning their alarm on.

The home in the Christchurch suburb of Avonhead was robbed on Monday and when residents returned home they found the note left by the burglar.

" Put your cat out and turn your alarm on dumb arse," the note read.

Christchurch police's Inspector Gary Knowles said for once police agreed..."

Now the tone of this seems to me that the home owners who fail to take all precautions are at fault for making criminals lives easier for them.

We seem to have lost the plot here. The ONLY ones that ANY blame should be attached to are the thieving lowlifes with no regard whatsoever for other people or their property.

It is indeed prudent to lock up when going out- or staying in for that matter, but let's not lose track of the fact that nobody has any right to walk in- or break in and help themselves.

Homeowners should not be mocked for a lapse in their security. The moral obligation is on not stealing- not on locking up the household.

And thieving is not clever. Nor are those who carry it out.

A different slant...

All the hardening up on the DPB talk is about solo mothers.

I know of a local case of a 'man' who has joint custody after divorce. He has now opted for the DPB (working for cashies meanwhile, I suspect)

He gets to live on the DPB, while only having the children every other week.

The mother (who stated that the DPB was NOT and NEVER an option) has now been pinged for child support by IRD- to support his lifestyle choice.

A story you won't see in the media.

Soft-cock judiciary

"Convicted killer Bailey Junior Kurariki has escaped a recall to prison.

The Parole Board said today it had declined to make a final recall order for the young man..."

That sends a real strong message to the scrotes on parole. You can thumb your nose at your conditions.

These shit-heads are 'ordered' off the booze and dope for a good reason. They commit their crimes under the influence of these substances- as they don't have the bottle to do them stone-cold sober.

To me, a person privileged to receive parole is obliged to lead an exemplary life, otherwise it's back to the pokey.

Or onward to the scaffold...

Bring back crucification!

For pieces of shit who would steal from an ambulance!

Story:

The ironic thing is that the criminal classes tend to be the ones who need these facilities more than the general population, because of their lack of brainpower and the way they live their worthless lives.

For the soft of heart, crucification does not have to be fatal. Although I think it should be for these crapheads devoid of all moral worth!

Dig a hole right through the Earth

And here you find out where you would come out!

Hat Tip: Barnsley Bill

Where do they find their recruits now?

"...In the latest issue of the Police Association magazine Police News, Mr Bond said police needed fast, well-built and reliable vehicles, "but do they need to have such vast engines?"

Police seemed "hell bent" on maintaining vehicles which individually consumed more fuel than two of the latest diesel or biofuel engines put together, he said.

The time for driving the "archetypal gas guzzlers has surely come to an end," he said..."

Link:

Now when I summon the police, I want to see a car that arrives at warp factor eight and leaves a carbon footprint the size of friggin' Texas!

I want that car to have room for four 120kg coppers, a boot full of shotguns and a man-eating alsation!

If they turn up in a friggin' Prius with two featherweights and a poodle they can sod off- I'll do the bloody job myself!

If PC Plod knew anything about cars, he would know that those nasty sixes are not that hard on the fuel when you drive them economically and keep the boot off the floor. Which you would expect when they are being used for inquiry duties.

And when you need to MOVE you can. Who would want to be in a Suzuki van when suddenly somebody starts a shooting war...

Mixed messages

I think that those who frequent these pages may have guessed that I fully support the dairy owner that shot a scumbag in the face. Pity it wasn't a .45!

I'm now waiting for the crown law office to announce what trumped-up charges he will be facing. Along with this chap, who gave a couple of idiot drivers a piece of his mind.

Here is the official party line:

"...Inspector Derek Erasmus, head of Canterbury's traffic policing, strongly discouraged people from taking the law into their own hands.

It was far better for people to take down details and call police, who would always use the information even if they could not respond at the time..."

Yeah, send the scumbags a message- the public MUST NOT confront or hinder criminals in their chosen occupation. Here is a free ticket and we may get around to investigating after we have filled out revenue quota!

Policing can only be effective with the support and cooperation of the public and I'm sorry to say that these policies are driving the public further away from the police. Look up the roots of the word 'Police' some time.

But then we have the story of another act of courage by a woman who really put her arse on the line and is rightfully honored for her courage.

What's it going to be?

Only during an election year

Would you see this getting the OK from the RMA!

When was the last time a hydro project of this size was approved?

Not that I would call 72 Mw 'massive'...

Another inconvenient truth

I love it when these little anomalies pop up and send the academics into a tale-spin.

Of course the explanation is simple. Not everything that happened then was written down!

People just went out and did things without planning or permission!

Update:

Those with a vested interest in the status quo are, of course, in total denial- how entirely predictable- nothing to see here- move along

Guns don't kill!

I love this clip!

Feckin' invaders!

Fortunately, I only have a bug infestation- unfortunately, unlike antmusic, it can't be stopped by a well-placed .45 slug. After spilling some sugar solution in the kitchen yesterday, this morning I discover a trail of ants looking like something of the Animal Planet channel.

Time for a spot of chemical warfare!

Anyone got any hints for dealing with ants (without using fire or blunt instruments)?

It's pouring down here. The rain sounds like a cow pissing on a concrete floor!

The rivers are rising fast, the drains are full and the power keeps flickering on and off.

Quote of the day

"There are three kinds of men: The ones that learn by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves."

Told you so!

"Bailey Junior Kurariki is back in jail after allegedly breaching his parole conditions by using drugs..."

Well what a surprise!

Good to see that his parole officer was onto it.

Like all the other scrotes that find Jesus behind the wire- he seems to have lost him at the gate.

What do all the soft-cocks that said give the poor daring a chance say now? probably give him ANOTHER chance...

I SAY- this is a problem that Capital Punishment definitely deals with.

THEY DON'T SCREW UP AGAIN!

maybe in America...

"A Hamilton couple has lost a battle for compensation over the fatal Icepak Coolstore explosion, near Hamilton, which brought their wedding reception to an abrupt end.

Leanne and Grant Bradley sued wedding venue host Gail Jones for "loss of ambience" following the April 5 explosion, which left Hamilton Senior Station Officer Derek Lovell dead and seriously injured seven of his colleagues..."

Good friggin' show- assholes!

Did these morons think that this was planned by the venue organiser to get them away from the bar early?

Bet that wedding ends in a divorce before long!

How much do you want $5k, punk!

Try to make the claim and the above is what will be pushing your nipples out your back.

What lesson here

"...A Rotorua man is facing his 19th drink-driving charge after being stopped by a police officer who allegedly saw him driving erratically.

The Rotorua Daily Post reported today the man, who was stopped last Wednesday night, has 18 previous convictions for drink driving and 22 previous convictions for driving while disqualified, dating back to 1971..."

I'm now Judge Dread AKA Minister of Corrections- Prison hasn't put him off. He won't/can't learn and as he is a threat to the public- it's preventative detention. Of course in my world that means a life of hard labour in a prison of my design. That's the camp that has all the rubbish of the island trucked in for separation and recycling.

SO- what would you do with this idiot?

We need people at the bottom, too.

"...A third of all school leavers dropped out last year without getting level two NCEA and nearly one in five failed to make the qualification's most basic rung.

Thousands of dropouts risk becoming beneficiaries or getting low-paid casual jobs..."

So lower the god-damned leaving age to fourteen! Why waste time over-educating cracker-stackers, dunny-scrubbers, full-time breeders and friggin' dustmen. Hell, they are just pissing everybody who WANTS an education off.

News flash- Thanks to bar code scanners, Pak & Slave don't require a BA! (not that it's good for much more)

There is no disgrace in being a productive menial. I have more time for a farm labourer than a government policy analyst!

Of course if you are a girl and cute- there is hope for you so- go to the gym, learn how to eat with your mouth closed and try to articulate your words properly. Just as importantly- don't breed!

You may have a future as a trophy wife.

Lads- you are needed down in the ditch, but you are never going to get to bonk Cactus Kate.

But neither will most of us, so don't bother to hurt your brains studying. There are still plenty of less discerning girls out there who will bonk the 'C' list!

Politicians- Proper policing prevents a pissed-off public

"...A police election year wishlist includes 1700 more officers and anti-social behaviour orders and curfews to target young criminals.

The Police Association says New Zealand needs the extra police to deal with growing violence and to bring police staff numbers in line with Australia..."

Policing MY way:

Give the police the power and tools needed to get out and in the criminal classes faces!

They need a restructure with separation of Police and traffic cops asap

Police need to be armed with Tasers and sidearms- shotguns to be carried in cars. Their training also needs to be stepped up in these areas. This isn't 1950 anymore!

Getting back to what we once had:

"...He called for community-imposed curfews on problem youths, and police powers to search for concealed weapons, to request identification from those breaching curfews and to issue "move on" directions.

Anti-social behaviour orders, which have been used in Britain since 1998, would help curb intimidating behaviour in both youths and adults.

The orders stop individuals entering particular areas or engaging in specific activities such as intimidation, wearing certain clothes or public swearing..."

YES!- they shouldn't have to pussyfoot around obnoxious drunks and druggies whatever their age. Also, the old offenses of 'Drunk and Disorderly' and 'Drunk in a public place' need to be resurrected. However, ASBO's don't appear to work in the UK, so I don't see why they would help here.

Obnoxious drunks should spend the night in an old-fashioned drunk tank cell, complete with wall-to-wall urine and vomit.

Curfews for minors should be brought in if approved by locals by referendum. Offenders to be locked up until uplifted by parents the next day.

Police need the power to tell loiterers to 'Move along' (I was surprised to discover they can't do this!)

DNA samples should be taken BUT only from convicted crims.

Police need to win back the respect of the public- seriously lacking these days.

Police need the resources to defend themselves. If that includes tasers, pepper spray, spring batons or firearms- so be it. They must answer for any use of these by way of an inquiry and be subject to the rule of not using grossly disproportionate force.

As should all citizens in good standing...

Be afraid...

Does this have a familiar feel to it...

"Did you really think that we want those laws to be observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against -- then you'll know that this is not the age for beautiful gestures. We're after power and we mean it. You fellows were pikers, but we know the real trick, and you'd better get wise to it. there's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can be neither observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted -- and you create a nation of law-breakers -- and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Rearden, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."

Building a Mare's nest...

"...A pregnant woman has been stealing baby clothes in Whakatane, police say.

The 20-year-old has admitted three of seven burglaries committed in Whakatane in the past week, Sergeant Yvonne Parker said.

In one of the burglaries, a video camera, alcohol and baby clothes were taken, she said.

It appeared the woman was in "nesting mode," Mrs Parker said..."

I call it 'in thieving mode'

Stealing from other peoples babies.

Lock her up, have the baby adopted out and remove her friggin' ovaries- with a boathook!

Moose Snot

I won't be going near the keyboard for the rest of the night as I'm making Moose Snot.

Wonderful stuff with far more uses than lubing pistol balls, but it does not go well with keyboards!

The commercial equivalent costs about $20 for a small tube. For about $3-4 I can make a kilo of it, which lasts me about 5 years.

Update:
The link doesn't for some so:

Stumpy's Moose Snot

A premium multi-shot between wiping (10+) patch lube stable over a wide temperature range.
SPECIFICALLY designed for use of patched round balls in a loading block

Beeswax 2 oz.
Castor Oil 8 oz.
Murphy's Oil Soap 1 oz.

Heat beeswax in a soup can set a pot of water. ( A double-boiler. I keep my beeswax in a one pound coffee can and measure out what I need by melting it and pouring it into measuring cups). Add just enough water so the inner can does not begin to float (should be just short of the lube level in the can). Heat the water to a low boil. In a separate can, add the castor oil and Murphy's oil soap (cold). Once the beeswax is melted, swap the castor oil can in the pot of water for the beeswax. Add the beeswax to the oils. It will clump up. Stir with an ice tea spoon as the mixture heats up. When it fully melts there will be a scum that floats to the top and just won't mix in. Be patient. DO NOT COOK THE MIXTURE. Once the solids are dissolved there is no need to heat further. Skim the scum off. Remove the mix from the heat and wipe the water off the outside (so it won't drip into the container when you pour it out). FINAL TOP SECRET STEP: Add a teaspoon of Murphy's Oil Soap and stir vigorously. This last step makes the lube frothy and smooth - really adds to the appearance; though it doesn't seem to matter to the function of the lube. Clamp the can in the jaws of a vice-grip pliers and pour into the waiting tins. Allow to cool a half hour.

Note: it if is a hinged tin - line the edge that has the hinges with a strip of aluminum foil so it doesn't ooze out before it cools.

Auctions

I have been reminded of why I don't bother with auctions too much these days.

While 30% of the crowd will be others like myself- bargain hunters who have researched the market and know how an auction works- there is the problem of the other 70%!

My love of bargain- hunting and haggling is completely overcome by a wave of depression caused by being in the presence of so many fucktard dumbasses!

The clowns that bid retail price on an item without considering the auctioneer's commission only punish themselves, as do the cretins that have no idea of market value or get into a pissing war with another bidder.

Feckin' time wasters that set unrealistic reserves are more annoying, as they waste my bloody time. Hint- if it ain't a rare or unusual item, the reserve should not be the same as the retail price for the same item. Certainly not when the goods are second-hand! Why the hell am I going to buy a gun for $650 when I can go to a shop and buy a equivalent for near half that AND get a warrantee!

But such is the nature of auctions, and this is why people sell that way- PT Barnum's rule runs true!

The REALLY annoyance is the horde of old Doris's at the back of the hall who are there to treat the who affair as a big social function. They natter worse than a CWI convention- It was that bad I couldn't hear the auctioneer at times and missed a few items as I couldn't hear where the bloody bidding was at! (being a bit deaf doesn't help)

Selling alcohol at an auction might be good for the sellers but it does nothing to help the serious buyers.

I picked up some nice books for an excellent price, but for a days effort- well, next year I will give it a big miss.

Crystal ball material

One thing a science fiction writer likes is when one of his gadgets becomes reality!

Back in 2004-5 when I wrote 'Meddlers in Time', I used the idea of a net to stop a vehicle by fouling its wheels and drive shaft by wrapping around them and locking them up.

The other night I was watching 'Future weapons' on Discovery and there was my net!

Another gadget to be used in a project I'm working on now is a miniature Taser projectile, delivered by shotgun.

That too is now a reality!

Feeding pigeons

Don't!

You just encourage them to breed more than they can feed

A while ago, I heard a story about this. Two persons were over heard talking about food banks and about how you could go and get 'Free Food'

News flash- IT AIN'T FREE!
And if you are working and take charity- it's just plain WRONG!

Assuming you have a sense of right or wrong...

Chickenshit asshole!

"Samurai swordsman Antonie Dixon says God told him to chop off the heads of the two women he lived with, then plunge the sword through his own heart..."

So- Did you plunge the frickin' sword through your ticker?

Obviously not.

Cowardly faggot!

Give the bastard a sharpish blade and instructions on how to commit seppuku!

I volunteer to be his second- I even have my own sword (US Artillery and rather sharp)

Of course I can't promise that I won't screw it up and forget to take his turnip off when he looks like screaming in agony. but I will try ;-)

Whinging oxygen-thieves

Here is a story I can confirm:

"...The Corrections Department was last night under fire for political correctness gone mad after admitting it had investigated formal complaints by prisoners over cold porridge, burnt toast and not enough sugar with their cups of tea..."

Yes, I have personally seen many of these frivolous complaints- You have never met a pack of more dedicated whiners- of course its all about 'Their Rights'

All friggin' rights should be checked at the gate!

You lost the lot when the judge said 'Guilty'

Nothing to see here, move along

550 tonnes of concentrated uranium ore in Iraq?

Nothing to see there- for the antique media anyway!

I'm sure they were just storing it to stop Iran getting it!

If the shoe fits

I heard a good one last night- the wife was referring to the local greenie group as ' Bullfrogs'

The more I think about the name, the more it fits!

Small creatures that live amongst the pond scum. Cold blooded and slimy, you don't really want to touch them and when shot with a .22, you discover they are more red than green.

Their most defining trait is that they have a voice all out of proportion to their stature!

Ingenuity and innovation ain't quite dead here!

Can you imaging getting a resource consent for this activity!

Can you think of any potential passengers- you would have to cremate them to get them on-board, but , hey...

A few quotes on politics

An ideal form of government is democracy tempered with assassination. - Voltaire

Too many piglets, not enough tits. - Abraham Lincoln

Do not trust the cheering, for those persons would shout as much if you or I were going to be hanged. - Oliver Cromwell

A man will fight harder for his interests than for his rights. - Napoleon

Democracy is grounded upon so childish a complex of fallacies that they must be protected by a rigid system of taboos, else even halfwits would argue it to pieces. Its first concern must thus be to penalize the free play of ideas. - H.L. Mencken

A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement. - Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural address, 1801

Those are governed best who are governed least. - Thomas Jefferson

I hold it, that a little rebellion, now and then, is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. - Thomas Jefferson, Letter to James Madison, January 30, 1787

Government is not reason, nor eloquence. It is force. And like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearsome master. - George Washington

The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with an average voter. - Winston Churchill

Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of Temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes at the very principles upon which our government was founded. - Abraham Lincoln

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedies. - Groucho Marx

Love your country, but never trust its government. - Robert Heinlein

We must not look to government to solve our problems. Government is the problem. - Ronald Reagan

100,000 Visits!

I have just had visit #100,000!

Onward to 1.000,000!

A REAL deterrent needed here!

"An FBI tipoff led New Zealand censorship inspectors to the home of a South Canterbury man who had collected 250,000 images of child sex abuse, including some of his own doing..."

"...They discovered some 250,000 obscene images showing young girls and newborn babies being sexually abused by adult men..."

This needs a penalty that is a serious deterrent. FOUR YEARS is totally pathetic. One could even say that this filthy pervert has the sympathy of the legal system.

Burn him at the stake.

That will make these disgusting subhumans think...

Missing the point a little...

"Handywoman Wendy McKenzie is building her own home.

The single mum is helping build her dream house in Oratia thanks to Habitat for Humanity..."

Yes, yes- very good but perhaps you would be better off if instead of learning about carpentry, you should have learned/be learning how to find a good man and keep him!

In carpentry there is a saying- measure twice, do it once!

OK- so the above is a little tongue-in-cheek and personally, I wish her well.

But the world seems to be full of those who somebody looking to be rescued- more often than not by the poor bloody taxpayer. For their piss-poor decisions.

They don't want the hand up this woman has been lucky enough to receive- they want a bloody meal ticket for life and absolution from all responsibility that may come their way.

It's enough to make you vote Libertarianz!

I'm calling 'Bullshit!' on this one!

"Banning smoking in bars and restaurants has saved the lives of more than 75,000 Kiwis, the Health Ministry says..."

And we believe that because the govamint wouldn't lie to us, would they?

Lets look at that another way- if smoking has killed that many in less than four years, shouldn't it have been banned? After all, the powers-that-be do so love to ban stuff!

I mean, drink-driving fatalities pale into insignificance compared to that kill return!

or does somebody have a financial interest here...

Cullen states the friggin' obvious

"...Finance Minister Michael Cullen has accused Road Transport Forum chief executive Tony Friedlander, a former National cabinet minister, of organising yesterday's truck protest for political motives...

Of course it's bloody political you donkey-bonking anal wart!

The truckies- and one hell of a lot of us non-truck driver want you to sod off, crawl under the rock that you came from and friggin' die!

Wanting your corrupt and arrogant nanny state out is political- about as political as it gets.

Suck it up asshole!

Saturday, July 05, 2008

It's Miller Time!

$14.99 at the local supermarket!

And its the 4th of July where it's made, so I thought- 'Why not!'

It beats the hell out of Bud!

On transport...

Here is the big problem with the sudden increase in RUC's explained:

"...It's just another crippling blow, we're just getting used to fuel going up. The deal was they were supposed to give us a month's notice so we could put our rates up," Mr McAuley said..."

And there is the problem- non-business liarbour types can't comprehend that there is a time lag between having to pay the charges and when you can actually pass them on! During that time, the operators have to suck it up.

The liarbour cheerleaders are all crying- 'truckies must pay their true costs'

Quite right. Am I to understand that you NOW understand the principle of 'User Pays'?

And that now the 'For the Public Good' defense is now gone. Outstanding! All those who museums and orchestras can start looking to up the door prices and pass the true costs on!

Another point so far overlooked regards this:

"...Transport Minister Annette King said notice of the increased charges was withheld because when it was given in 2007 there was a $17.5 million mass pre-purchase to beat the cut-off..."

Now usually when somebody pays in advance, a discount is in order! Having that money early has got to be worth a few points.

Any business would love customers pre-paying.

But nanny state is insatiable!

Friday, July 04, 2008

Happy Birthday

We appreciate what you have done for all of us!

I will be downing a few in your honour tonight!

Update:

Theo has the best stuff-as usual!

it's not about transport...

Well, a bit of of it is about the cost of transport- but mostly it's about an idea.

The idea that people seem to be finally becoming aware of.

That government has spread through our lives like a cancer As with so many cancers, it is at the point of killing you when you finally become aware of it.

We are about to get this cancer cut out. That much is obvious now.

But cancer has this nasty habit of coming back.

Today's protests- rather small beer on the world stage- serve notice that that apathy levels in NZ have finally been overcome. This SHOULD be a strong message to ALL parties that we are sick of being continually leeched upon to support the agendas of a few.

I know that NZ can be roused to far more meaningful demonstrations than a traffic jam. Study your history if you think this rhetoric.

Today's gesture was the first rocks tumbling down the slope before the landslide.

Thursday, July 03, 2008

7 1/2 percent too bloody far!

I knew NZ had the capacity to get serious about protest, but usually only over rugby issues.

Now the flash point has FINALLY been reached. EVENTUALLY the concept that fuel and transport cost affect EVERYTHING seems to have sunk home.

I'm hoping this is a start and I call on the farmers to join in here. Lets show the cheese-eating surrender-monkeys how to block roads!

84% popular support!
