I ain't afraid of no ghost!

From the latest police-assisted suicide:

"...Ms Manderson said she had asked for the police kaumatua Rev Maurice Gray to ensure the cultural process of tapu lifting would be carried out correctly when the scene examination was complete..."

More of the PC shit we are paying for!
A service to rid of of fricking spooks! Ani't it great that us taxpayrs have so much damned spare money that we can afford all these things that we never asked for!
"... I need an old priest and a young priest. The power of Christ compels you!..."

Convert it to any other race…….the English police were waiting until a Morris dancer elder came to clear thing away with St George and his dragon so the body could be safely removed……and the cops responsible would be put into the white coats with the buttons on the back.

Who did the police shoot: a raving P-head loony...or a taniwha?

It's all about balance I guess. They spent money on 4 x bullets, so someone has to waste money somewhere. Instead of on public-purse lawyers and lock up accommodation, we pay for a jingo-istic priest.

Less PC BS please!

Funny how those same spooks don't need to be appeased after a baby bashing or violent hold-up.....

Talking about gravy trains, have you heard about the local iwi are preparing to do an occupation protest at 'Pram airport, just because someone(AirNZ) is going to make some money out of it.

Steady on seamonkey. I dislike dosh grabbing but there is some evidence that the land was taken from the iwi originally (as it could be) for a specific use. There was some risk that airport was being slowly divided up and suddenly wouldn't be one any more. If its not used for the original purpose the iwi get first dibs on it and that's the white man's rules (and fair enough too). I suspect the iwi are nervous so want to make a point. Don't assume Air NZ really want to use it other than as a bargaining chip. Its location is not as good as the current Wgtn one which is only a short drive away rather than 100km drive away on a very clogged road with loads of speed cameras and both 80 & 50KPH limits tossed in. It sucks. Pram doesn't even have a terminal and we know how important they are as Wgtn spent shitloads on theirs rather than extend the runway (until now). Safety first chaps.
