Having a bad Sunday

Now that this is well out of the court sysyem, I can post these.

Getting head-on'd at 0730 on a Sunday morning. You would think the drunks had all made it home by now, but NOOOO, I had to find one.

The damage doen't look so bad in these pictures. That's from a combined impact speed of at least 130k, I'm told.

It doesn't matter how good a driver you are when someone comes around a blind corner on the wrong side of the road, at way over the speed limit.

I had exactly enough time to go 'Fuck', and pull the wheel over just far enough to save my legs from being crushed.

His passenger wasn't so lucky.

So you were heading east out of the Mount Victoria Tunnel and a guy driving a Nissan came around the corner, crossed the centreline and hit you head on, right? Looks like he was way beyond the corner and still didn't manage to correct himself. Must have been at least three times the legal limit to drive that bad!!!!

A bit over twice the limit, but other 'substances' were probably involved...

its a major problem ostable, people driving on the wrong side of the road, and it very rarely has anything to do with drugs, it is usually driver aggression and arrogance, it bad about that passenger , but i glad to hear you brain was undamage,
there is an answer,
specialist traffic cop who can remove car driving rights immediately and for a week or two for dangerous drving, plkus a reasonable fine, no questions, no court, we would need at least 200 specialised laws to do this properly,
