Modern Women

I'm sure they think that Washing, Ironing and Bonking are cities in China!

None of the above seem to be happening around here...

Transporting aggro scumbags

Here is one way of dealing with stroppy inmates!

When transporting them about- They need to be kept in line- This little gadget would do the trick nicely!

It would have the added benefit of upsetting the sensitivities of all the bleeding-heart softcock do-gooders too!

Bleeding Heart Lawyers?- No- bottom-feeders smelling the trough...

"The family of the teenage prisoner killed in custody could have a case for compensation.... Prisoner compensation lawyer Tony Ellis says the family could have a case under the Bill of Rights. He will soon be testing whether it is possible to sue for death in custody in another case, for the family of a prisoner who committed suicide in jail. He says official inquiries need to be carried out first, but some further action should be taken...."

Story Here:

Are these lawyers bleeding heart crim-lovers? I doubt it.

They are lower than that. They are in it purely for their own pockets, snout buried firmly in the taxpayer's trough. As vile a group of parasites as the dole-as-a-lifestyle-choice camp!

If you wonder why so many plead guilty to an open & shut case or continuously appeal convictions, it's because these slime egg their scumbag and dim-witted 'clients' on with false hope.

But the lowlife lawyers still get their loot!

On a the subject of the death in custody, I have always been a firm believer that when transporting crims, they should be in individual cages in the back of a bus. Totally unable to get as each other. When in transit, they should also be shackled and those guarding them need some king of weapon to subdue them, in case of trouble. Tasers or stunners would be my prefered choice (OK, you readers now me better than that- It would actually be a .45 Auto or a shotgun!)

For the record, I have done many inmate transfers. If something goes down in the back of the van, there is NOTHING that can be done. To try and open up the back outside of a secure facility is (1) Bloody dangerous. (2) a sure-fire way to learn what your local WINZ office looks like.

We always seperated out those classified as 'youth offenders' from the others, but hell- they were just as bad as the adult scrotes most of the time. Corrections are being a bit sanctimonious saying that it would never have happened with them, though. Like they follow the rules to the letter every time!

This incident shouldn't have happened. One reason overlooked is that the (probable) killer had a record a mile long. He should have already gone to meet Jack Ketch.

I do feel sorry for the parents- I believe they just wanted to give him the 'short, sharp shock treatment. I would probably have done the same as them and refused his bail.

But- The Bottom Line?

Don't steal stuff! Prison is a dangerous environment!
Learn from this and don't go there...

Was it me or was it Blogger?

I have been unable to access any blogspot sites since Thursday.

I thoght it was a blogger problem, but access has mysteriously reappeared after I cleared all cookies and ran a spyware cleaner...

Who locked the bloody door?

Overheard today...

One very young taxpayer-funded breeder moaning about how hard it is to get a grant or handout for her to buy whiteware for her new flat.

Hang on- Now how did I get the gear for my first abode?

That's right- like most of my readers, I had to do without until I SAVED THE DAMNED MONEY FROM MY WAGES!

It's so much easier today- there is always some outfit ready to leand money to almost anyone. If you can't define 'usary'- you probably qualify for easy money- just sign on the dotted line- no deposit required!

But no- easy finance is not what these sorts want. They NEED to be given it- it's a RIGHT to have a fridge and washing machine.

After all, it's for the baby (that we all have to pick up the tab for)

To keep our EARNINGS for us and our own would be selfish!

Now I need to find a bucket...

90 days- shape up or sod off!

The 90 day employment probation period bill.

This is a bill I support. (although I would rather the government just stayed the hell out and let the parties involved sort these matters out!)

For every uscrupulous employer out there, there is a busload of useless employees. As one who has too often had to put up with the terminally useless in the workplace, they piss me off as an emploer and as an employee.

They interview OK, say the right things and have the right bits of paper. Then before long you discover they aren't fit to shovel shit from one place to another. The sort that has a degree in engineering and can't pick up a screwdriver without stabbing himself.

We have one at the moment (see my previous post on 'Team Players')

Bloody useless. He needs an overseer with a bullwhip to get a day's work out of the idle sod. ( I have the bullwhip, but some law no doubt means 'The Snake' stays on my workshop wall)

Down through the years I have seen more than a few of them come and go. Usually they don't stay long- just a bit longer than that 'Grace" period most skilled jobs have, to allow a FNG to get up to speed. Then you get others that just won't leave. You can be sure they are usually up to the play with employment law, too!

The boss has to pay for these bastards, the other workers have to carry them. Neither of us want them.

For those who think whole workplaces will be laid off every 89 days- bollocks!

Only an idiot would do that (there are some of those out there, mind!) Reality is that recruiting and training is just too expensive- even for scut jobs. If temps are needed, they are employed on fixed-term contracts- far easier than going to the trouble of dotting the I's and crossing the T's on the paperwork to terminate them otherwise.

For the scenario posted on DF's Blog: "I've worked in cafes and restaurants where staff were hired only after working three eight-hour shifts for free (to assess your skill level, of course, despite being able to provide years' of experience, testimonials and a liquor manager's certificate) and had to buy uniforms/aprons etc... "

Tell them to get fucked!

I've heard of this and if the sort of people who work for these types just grew a pair and told them to sod off, it wouldn't happen for long. Grow backbones and stand up for yourselves!

I didn't vote for them!

What's the deal with Maori royalty?

They seem to be one of the better kept secrets around. I hear more about the goings-on of the Monaco royals in any given year.

I don't have a lot of time for any of them. They seem to only exist to provide filler for woman's magazines. Certainly, the NZ variety remain quieter than a backbencher a year off getting the full pension!

As regards providing leadership, they haven't been capable of leading starving wolves to meat.

It's time kings and queens moved into the history books as something we did before we knew better...

Notice periods

I could never see the point in having a useless staff member work out a period of notice.

While it might be tempting to have them doing the worst of the scut work for two weeks, the reality is they are better gone. Immediatly.

Our current one just sits about whinging like a busload of pommie tourists on a budget tour of a dry country. If he was a dog, I would have shot him, to put him out of his misery!

It serves no point to keep these sad sacks of shit. The minimal amounts of work you get out of them is at the cost of pissing all the decent staff off.

It just isn't worth it!

Pistol day today!

I was asked, so here they are well, they would be but only one picture worked. Both look much the same, though.

One is the 'Target' model, the other with standard sights- both in stainless steel.

I would like one of the originals, but could use a new car first!

Things that can bugger up an otherwise good evening...

Your wife buying a kitset desk from Warehouse Stationary and trying to assemble it. More frustrating than a two-year old that insists "I do!" when you are in a hurry.

I find them easy- the red shed's desks & bookcases are actually quite well put-together kits.

However, kitsets and lesser mortals don't mix well.

I often wonder how many of these assemble yourself jobs wind up banished to the darkest conrers of the garage, behingd the old exercise equipment.

Steven Tindal probably does too and laughs all the way to the bank over that!

As usual, I wound up putting the damned thing together!

I could sell my services- I will assemble your kitset for, say- the same as the cost of the kit. But only if assemble has not been previously attempted!

Why not?

Another solution to the prison population explosion.

An annual decimation!

All names go into a computer draw, with a weighting of one 'ticket' per conviction and one for every year of sentence they have recieved.

For example- if a scrote has committed seventy offenses for a total of ten years sentence time , he gets eighty chances in the draw!

All salvagable bodies organs are recycled.

I don't see why Liarbour would have a problem with this. Their pals in China run a similar scheme!

Little Johnny...

A teacher is explaining biology to her 4th grade students.

"Human beings are the only animals that stutter", she says. Little Johnny raises his hand. "I had a kitty-cat who stuttered", he volunteered.

The teacher, knowing how precious some of these stories could become, asked little Johnny to describe the incident.

"Well", he began, "I was in the back yard with my kitty and the rottweiler who lives next door got a running start and before we knew it, he jumped over the fence into our yard!

"That must've been scary", said the teacher.

"It sure was!", said the little Johnny. "My kitty went 'Fffff, Fffff, Fffff'... And before he could say "Fuck," the rottweiler ate him!"

Cutting the prison population.

Bring back secure mental intitutions.

By my observations, about 1/3 of those locked up for any length of time are barking mad. They would have once resided in a secure mental institution, where they belong. Those were closed and they gravitated to the prisons. Ask any policeman about the time they waste in dealing with 'petty crimes' committed by the mentally ill!

Forget the bullshit about who closed what and when. Now is the time to do something about it. How many years in power does it need?

I can have some sympathy with the criminally insane- when comparing them with plain bad bastards, anyway. They should be kept in a more comfortable enviroment- the plain bad should get the army tent, armed guards & barbed wire facilities in the high country. Let the new gold-plated prisons be the secure mental institutions and house the scrotes out the back of Waiouru.

I'm sure the army has plenty of old leaky tents (I've spent more than a few nights in them!)- they could get new ones and the crims can have the old crap.

I'm sure the army would be of assistance in hunting down and shooting any runaways, too!

Stick this up ya jacksie, Geldof!

NZ ranks 6th for global contribution

2.30pm Monday August 14, 2006

New Zealand is ranked sixth out of the 21 richest nations -- beating Britain, the United States and France -- in a survey of countries helping to make the world a better, safer place to live.

The only thing thats 'pathetic' is you ya sad twat!

I like this Blogger!

Another blogger who's work I never miss is Cactus Kate!

If she was a Martini, she would be a huge glass of Waterloo Gin that sneers at the Vermouth and has scoffed the jar of olives!

Bloody brilliant stuff!

I would like to meet her, but I suspect that like with subcritical pieces of plutonium, we are probably better kept apart.

Selective Preciousness

Moko Halloween tattoo pulled from US webstore
9.10pm Friday August 11, 2006

A fake Maori moko tattoo being sold on an American halloween website appears to have been pulled from the website after complaints from Maori it was insulting.

More:

Gawd, you would think this was the only culture in the world that used the tattoo!

OK, so when are you going to get stuck into the gang members who make a mockery of Moko?

No time soon, I'm betting...
