I found more info. on this clip- it wasn't a helo as the first link indicated.
This video was taken from an AC130 Specter gunship (plane) two and a half miles away. The guys in the picture are setting up a roadside bomb and planning to ambush an American convoy that followed a short while after the pictures were taken. They were setting up for the ambush and were pacing off the distance the bomb to where the convoy was to pass by.
They were hit with a 40mm cannon. Which is a real shooter when you turn on the laser!

Those guys need to work on knowing their weapon states before they squeeze the tit.
Is the knobs on the ground had any kind of shoulder launched anti air in the area that ranging cock up was enough to tell them where to aim and give them the time to do it.
