Normal service has resumed

That was as much fun as you can have with your pants on!
Four days of Black Powder, Barbeques and Beer. Living under canvas, catching up with old friends, trading and plenty of friendly competition.
Bacon & beans for breakfast, followed by 8 hours of shooting action with pistol, rifle, shotgun. Everything from a .32 cap & ball to an 8-Bore Shotgun- with the odd throwing axe and Bowie knife thrown about.
I placed third in the muzzle-loading sillouette section and I'm pleased with that- especially shooting against guys who have been doing this since these guns were standard issue!
Even the couple of downpours failed to dampen spirits.
And now I have a heap of gear to clean!

From a muzzle-loading event?

If I get out there next week, there is a service rifle shoot on- that usually leaves a bit of brass

You missed the key point - what beer were you drinking?
