background is all wrong, jumps out at you ... too nouveaux .. drains the colour from the malt, looks like cats pee .. same with the knife & whisky glass ... a little too like a cave man wearing a rolex...& cigar is too small (you can ask cactus about that one, or any american you may happen across)... looks more like the requisites for topping oneself, not impacting on the world.

Unwrap the cigar

I think you should use the one you made.
I think you should toss a condom in the mix as well.

Through the condom...
So far- the cigar does need to be unwrapped (then I have to smoke it)
The knife- I might try a few other items there- I have a small dagger and an old straight razor that might work.
My other knives are too big and would dominate the picture, having already tried that- less is more in this sort of shot.
I may try another surface- one table reflected glare too much, so this was shot on the bathroom floor (good lighting in there!)
