scum killing scum

"A woman who fatally stabbed her partner in the chest with a kitchen knife has been sentenced to just eight years in jail.

Jacqueline Elaine Wihongi, 33, "self-medicated" with alcohol after a tragic "history of victimhood", a court was told yesterday. She is believed to be just the second person to receive less than a life sentence for murder..."

So would I get a discount for slotting out some of the local scumbags?

Fat chance.

Wrong sex, wrong colour...

Hey teacher- leave those kids alone!

"Key has lashed out at the teachers after 95.1 per cent of the Post Primary Teachers Association (PPTA) voted to strike over stalled pay talks.

Strike action is set to start on September 15 and the PPTA has penciled in further strikes in the last term of the school year if they cannot reach agreement with the Ministry of Education..."

GOOD!

I can take more time off to spend with my children. It's not like they will miss out on an education- we can do firelighting, navigation, maths, field hygiene, cooking and all the other fun stuff we out in the bush and out of school. Along with reading books, listening to stories and just being with MEN who work for a living and learning how they do that.

GO on strike more!

OTC madness

"Wairarapa could be the toughest place in the country to buy a pack of Panadol under new restrictions aimed at preventing suicides.

The Wairarapa District Health Board will ask dairies, super-markets and pharmacies to sign a voluntary code next year limiting the amount of paracetamol they dish out.

Overdosing or mixing para-cetamol is a known method of suicide and the DHB hopes limiting access to the medication will lower the region's suicide rate..."

Right...

What next? Put covers over all lakes, rivers and ponds?
Security fences around the roads?

As a public service, I will inform all those contemplating a paracetamol-assisted supreme being consultation- DON'T!!!

It is one of the nastiest ways you could pick to end your lot.

A slow lingering death as your internal organs irreversibly fail.

Stick to the old hose over the exhaust pipe, into the car.

Easier for you, far kinder to the poor bastards that have to stuff your sorry-arsed corpse in a plastic bag.

DIY experiment

Having spent a very frosty night in double-glazed hut, I'm a great fan of this type of window- something that is way underutilized in NZ.

Rather than spend many thousands which I don't have- as my taxes are being spent insulating poor people's houses- I'm going to retrofit my existing wooden framed windows.

I saw a system using acrylic sheet held in place with magnetic strips- looks easy enough to fabricate, but the magnetic strip costs more to buy than the acrylic sheet, so I will use draft exclusion foam and screw the acrylic in place. I'm hoping a small bag of silica gel will keep the internal fogging down.

The project starts next school holidays when I buy a couple of sheets and fit out the bedrooms.

A bonus is the safety angle, as I have a boy who has no idea about the properties of glass (as if any boys do!)

Plan is to have the house retrofitted by next winter, so I will keep you posted when the sun starts to hide again!

Get a grip- brutal cuts indeed!

"...The Government announced in the May Budget that the top rate of funding for early childhood education (ECE) centres with more than 80 per cent qualified staff would be removed.

Kindergartens operate with 100 per cent qualified staff. They estimate they will lose about $14m funding as a result of the change..."

This is because kindergarten 'teachers' are grossly overqualified. You do not need a bloody diploma or degree to teach the alphabet and make sure there is no pushing in the playground, throwing sand in eyes or eating the playdough!

Although I lean towards needing a qualification (or at least a simple IQ test) before breeding...

The neutering of society

Don't:

Chase the speeding car
Confront the rioting drunken teenagers
Tell the thug smashing windows to stop or else
Try to break up the rowdy party

You MIGHT provoke the pinheads BREAKING THE LAW to do something worse.

Just take some photos- but not up close because that could provoke a bad response too!

Shall we just issue the police with scoutmaster's uniforms and give them bicycles?

I think the pursuit guidelines are about right. Sometimes they DO have to cut their losses and break off the chase. Perhaps that might have happened had the Christchurch pursuit continued for a bit longer- they had only just started.

Sometimes the cops get it wrong, for sure- but things would be a hell of a lot worse if they could not pursue at speed- EVERY piece of shit WOULD run for it, if they knew the police could not speed after them.

As with all things, they will be room for improvement. Perhaps more use of image capture of fleeing vehicles- digital imaging is continually improving- although I then go back to the point in my previous post:

"They need to nab the driver as some smarmy lawyer will raise questions about identity in court- they would do this if a man in a black cape was driving the friggin' Batmobile!"

Certainly there needs to be a clear deterrent to those evading the law by further criminal activity. The maximum fine is $10k, but that had never been given, nor is it any deterrent when boy racers rack up six-figure sums in fines and sneer at the courts.

No, it needs to be prison. A prison where the daily routine is hard labour to work off the excess hormones- say, quarrying rock in a traditional manner.

Now from the Crime Act:
167. Murder defined---Culpable homicide is murder in each of the following cases: (a) If the offender means to cause the death of the person killed: (b) If the offender means to cause to the person killed any bodily injury that is known to the offender to be likely to cause death, and is reckless whether death ensues or not: (c) If the offender means to cause death, or, being so reckless as aforesaid, means to cause such bodily injury as aforesaid to one person, and by accident or mistake kills another person, though he does not mean to hurt the person killed: (d) If the offender for any unlawful object does an act that he knows to be likely to cause death, and thereby kills any person, though he may have desired that his object should be effected without hurting any one. Cf. 1908, No. 32, s. 182
167 (d), to this lay-person, suggests that MURDER has been committed.
I know these types are not big on thinking and considering consequences. The thought of facing a murder charge will totally fail to get through to many of them- but it will get through to many others who are young and foolish, but not terminally stupid.
Just shrugging off the slap-on-the-hand treatment with "there is no point in ruining the perps life, as well"- just does not cut it.
This liberal crapola has been an epic failure.
Time for the pendulum to swing back to the harsh side of severe!

Killers in cars- and those who make excuses for them

Immediately after last nights post on the 'poor little ol' me' attitude of the drunk that fled a checkpoint to destroy a couple of lives- we have YET ANOTHER incident in the Village of the Damned.

Another pair of lives snuffed out by totally self-absorbed yoof, who seem to believe they have the god-given right to drive as, where and how they please.

And who do the disingenuous media portray as the perps?

The police- who are damned if they chase and damned if the do not.

The usual intellectual lightweights (who the media play to) ask the inevitable "Why don't the police take the rego and arrest the hoons later, rather than risk a pursuit causing collateral damage?"

There are many good reasons the police try to catch the offender right then and there:

  • They want to screen for alcohol BEFORE the perp sobers up
  • They need to stop the bad driving NOW.
  • They need to arrest the ACTUAL driver- who may not be the registered owner.
  • The plates may not match the car. (Just watch Motorway Patrol)
  • They need to nab the driver as some smarmy lawyer will raise questions about identity in court- they would do this if a man in a black cape was driving the friggin' Batmobile!
  • A car being driven erratically may be involved or have been involved in some other crime and they need to investigate- it's a police thing
Clear enough?

Continued:

Today on the talkback, I heard the poignant tale of a woman who lost her parents and a brother to a teenage idiot attempting to drive a car. Leaving her orphaned in her teens and another handicapped brother who had to be placed into care. The fact that a intellectually handicapped child had to be placed into the care of strangers touched a sore point in me. I have a child like this who was almost put in this situation by a drunken hoon near killing me.

If they established a hard labour facility for those who make stupid decisions while in control of a deadly weapon, I would be tempted to go back to Corrections.

Hell, if they started hanging these idiots I would apply for the job!

Dead is harsh

"A drunk-driver who killed a Blenheim grandmother when she crashed into her vehicle after speeding off from a police checkpoint says she has been judged "quite harshly" by the public.

Blenheim woman Frances Stubbs made the comment during an interview on TV3 current affairs show Campbell Live last night..."

Perhaps that is because so many of us have had someone close killed or maimed by a mindless cretin like you.

Or had to clean up afterwards...

Tell them to sod off!

Dirty rotten scoundrels

My advice to Veuve Clicquot :

Cough up a few crates and salvage this PR clusterfuck!

And advertise on blogs- not shonky magazines that only exist to appear on corporate reception tables and never actually get read.

The Clayton's competition...

UPDATE:

Good show!

The aging pharmacist who struggled with an intruder moments before the man died during a break-in has been told to rest by doctors because of stress..."

Cause of death- being a dumbarse criminal scumbag.

Now give Mr Grant Gillard a community award and pass the hat around!

Note to the police prosecutors:

If you are a student, you ain't in the armed services and thus are not about to go to war.

Wait until you grow up.

Don't usually quote the entire article-but...

"Maori leaders have been told to make a stand and pay up for child abuse.

Social Development Minister Paula Bennett delivered her blunt message to a closed-door meeting of iwi leaders last week.

They were told to "face up" to child abuse by identifying mothers who let "mongrel men" into their homes, and to stump up with their own funding so abused children could be placed in iwi instead of state care.

Bennett presented the leaders with their own lists of shame - the numbers of abused children from each of their iwi who were currently in state care.

"You know who they are. I need you as respected leaders to go back to hapu, iwi and whanau and say it's time to face up to this. It's time to face up to the fact that Maori children and babies are being beaten, abused and killed.

"It's time it stopped," she said.

About a quarter of all children were Maori, yet they made up half of the substantiated abuse cases and family violence deaths.

Bennett said effort had to go into finding children before they were abused, by identifying mothers with low self- esteem who let "mongrel men" into homes as they searched for "some warped kind of love".

She challenged the Iwi Leaders Forum in Hopuhopu, near Ngaruawahia, to "put your hands in your own pockets" to help find families who could take on children from within their own iwi "because the government doesn't have the money for it right now, quite frankly".

But Ngati Kahu chairwoman Professor Margaret Mutu said what Bennett was saying was nothing new, and although the leaders would always support measures to ensure children remained within their own whanau, the suggestion iwi provide funding and resources was ridiculous.

"We can't. We don't have them. It's a state responsibility. We know how bad it is, we know the helplessness and hopelessness of it, and that we are the only ones who can save ourselves. But we also need resources and the support of the state to do that."

Bennett said some of the leaders were uncomfortable with her address but others were supportive.

"I was saying if we really are in this together, and those are your children, you can't just expect the state to pay for everything."

She proposed a partnership with iwi under which Child Youth and Family "whanau finders" could help iwi identify families who could be called on when a child needed a new home, rather than see them placed in state care.

Bennett told the leaders there were 2227 Maori children in state care. About half of those under five were placed within their own iwi, but she believed work was needed to ensure more found permanent homes within their iwi."

You keep banging on about how precious your kids are. Money where the mouth is- you have had a good enough go at the trough!

Grow up!

"A Nelson skateboarder hit with a $750 fine for cruising down New St on his board is refusing to pay the "overly excessive" infringement.

Sascha Krueger, 33, says the police officer who dished out the ticket had not done his homework properly, and it was only illegal to skate on the street's footpath – not the road..."

Stupid BOY. What are you doing riding a skateboard at 33 years of age?

You are going to have to deliver a lot of newspapers to pay your well-deserved fine!

Cowboys ain't dumb

Three guys and Bruce

Three guys were at a deer camp. No one wanted to room with Bruce, because he snored so badly.

They decided it wasn't fair to make one of them stay with him the whole time, so they voted to take turns.

The first guy slept with Bruce and comes to breakfast the next morning with his hair a mess and his eyes all bloodshot.

They said, "Man, what happened to you?" He said, " Bruce snored so loudly, I just sat up and watched him all night."

The next night it was a different guy's turn. In the morning, same thing-hair all standing up, eyes all bloodshot.

They said, "Man, what happened to you? You look awful!"
He said, 'Man, that Bruce shakes the roof with his snoring. I watched him all night."

The third night was Fred's turn. Fred was a tanned, older cowboy; a man's man.

The next morning he came to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. "Good morning!" he said.
They couldn't believe it. They said, "Man, what happened?" He said, "Well, we got ready for bed.
I went and tucked Bruce into bed, patted him on the butt, and kissed him good night.

Bruce sat up and watched me all night!

Manslaughter my arse

"...Adam Christopher Lock, 22, pleaded guilty to a charge of manslaughter and a charge of assaulting Jayrhis Ian Te Koha Lock-Tata when he appeared before Justice Edwin Wylie in the High Court at Rotorua yesterday, the Rotorua Daily Post reported.

Jayrhis died in Starship Hospital on March 7 last year from massive bleeding between the skull and brain, two days after Lock forcefully grabbed the baby around the ribs, shook him violently and smashed his head against a hard surface..."

I call it bloody murder!

The murder of a helpless infant child on ones (supposed) care can only have one penalty- assuming the perp does not have the decency to destroy themselves immediately.

To be chained to a concrete block at the low water mark and watch the tide come in.

Funny- I though this was meant to be a serious matter

"A 20-year-old Blenheim woman who fled a police alcohol check-point killing another driver has been sentenced to eight months' home detention.

Frances Carol Stubbs had admitted driving with excess blood alcohol causing death and was sentenced by Judge Bruce Davidson at the Blenheim District Court this afternoon..."

Strange- for some time there there has been a huge amount of noise on how serious and dangerous the whole pissed-driving thing is. Sounds like the judge doesn't watch TV. Home D for a killing, indeed!.

Just don't steal sheep- you WILL do time for THAT!

"...Two men have been sent to prison for sheep rustling and animal cruelty, after they were caught with 14 sheep crammed in a car..."

Monday, August 16, 2010

Nothing to see here

"...Green Party MP Keith Locke said the New Zealand Defence Force had to share responsibility for what happened to insurgents it captured.

He supported the withdrawal of the SAS from Afghanistan.

"We don't want New Zealand's good name muddied by links for the torture of prisoners, which is reputed to include beatings, electric shock treatment, and sleep, food and water deprivation..."

Ho Hum.

Locke has lived a very sheltered life. With the exception of electric shock treatment*, the rest was inflicted on us under the name of 'Training'.

Sissies need not apply...

The right to quiet enjoyment

"...A Riccarton party that was broken up last weekend prompted several youths to contact The Press to complain about a heavy-handed police response.

Police hit back at the claims, saying the response was justified and that out-of-control student parties were becoming too common in the suburb..."

Party all day- when those who fund you are at work.

After 10PM- shut the fuck up or face the consequences.

"...We were sitting down and there was a wall of about 10 police coming towards me," Gillespie said.

"I got up to move and I got hit in the back of the head and knocked to the ground.

"I tried to get back up, and they said `move' again, and they hit me again."

She was hit four times and pepper-sprayed in the eyes, she said.

She and Holmes quickly left the house, and Appelbe also fled when police arrived," Gillespie said.

Appelbe said: "I understand why the party got shut down.

"It was late at night and causing a bit of noise, but the way they shut it down was completely unreasonable."

Holmes said: "I wouldn't have minded if they just came in with their shields and told us to get out.

"We weren't causing a threat at all...."

Success

Truly free enterprise- payment entirely voluntary- and it works!

Drains, water, footpaths and parks.

Stick to the above (Which is almost always contracted out, anyway).

The rest will sort themselves out

Another poster boy for Jack Ketch

This oxygen-stealing piece of vulture shit has been in jail for 24 years.

That is what I call a start. Fortunately the parole board seems to agree- this time.

But I have to ask- if a person is so dangerous that they have to be permanently incarcerated (he is)- why not give them a long drop on a short rope?

To keep mad dogs alive serves little purpose.

Read what he did and see if you can find ONE good reason for him to live- aside from spending a life suffering severe punishment.

I would like to introduce him to a spot of field interrogation involving a bucket of water.

On a daily basis while the scaffold is being erected and tested...

More reform

There is nothing like spending a day in hard physical work, knowing that a quarter of your efforts are going to prop up loafers who haven't got out of bed when you already have six hours of chargables on the timesheet.

My current writing project is about life in the 35th century. Here they do not have the same extent of social problems that we do, but still have the inevitable types who want to live outside of society.

I came up with the concept of Lowtown (TM) and every province (that would be a country here) has one. All the deadbeats, users and misfits who haven't screwed up enough to get a noose or a life sentence mining asteroids, get a one-way ticket to this closed community. As in closed by Marine guards with state of the art weaponry- which they like and are allowed to- use.

Here they are allowed to do pretty much as they please, but of course they do not get any high-tech equipment or supplies. This gets the Marines using their high-tech equipment on them. They have to produce all they need and unfortunately for the deadbeat types, Lowtown is run by a boss (thug) who expects all to work- hard! The Empire will supply them with very basic needs- K-rats and 20th century medicines but expects payment in minerals or othe goods- TANSTAAFL!

It's all the law of the jungle in there!

And now for something completely different

...To what I was actually going to post.

Welfare Reform

Bring back the Workhouse!

I'm sick of paying to keep wastrels in drugs and I'm sick of paying for their indiscriminate breeding!

I'm sick of 'sickness beneficiaries' who are capable of committing all manner of crimes- and those who are on the dole through self-inflicted problems- like drug use.

I'm sick of loafers who just plain can't be arsed getting out of bed- because they get more than minimum wage doing nothing.

I'm sick of the cretins who wasted an opportunity to get an education- and want US to pay for them to get a 'Second chance'

I fail to see why someone wanting taxpayer assistance should have a more comfortable ride than an infantry recruit on basic training.

I fail to see why someone wanting taxpayer assistance should not be available for unpayed community work as a condition of receiving taxpayer funds for their indigenous status.

I fail to see why a person supported by taxpayer largess should receive voting PRIVILEGES.

I know the feeling

Swine flu- it appears to have been here for some time

Symptoms include a need to get one's snout deep further into the trough, no matter how well paid the job is. Those affected also have a huge dose of 'Entitlitis'

The cure is to send the little piggies off to market- the Free Market, that is!

"...TVNZ boss Rick Ellis has racked up more than $140,000 on his company plastic – including $32,000 entertaining – during a time of major redundancies at the broadcaster..."

Then we have the big comprehension fail by one of the troughers underlings:

"...Richards said it was unfair for TVNZ to release its data when bosses of private companies Fairfax, APN, MediaWorks and Sky were not forced to..."

That would perchance be because YOU are owned by US?

Private companies are responsible to the shareholders. I believe it's time for ALL of you at TVNZ to find work in the private sector.
Good luck and don't let the fries burn.
