Suppression orders be damned- here are the offenders names

I Lied.

Now get out and catch some real crooks!!


My real issue with suppresion orders is that they are not fairly applied.

ALL accused should have their names suppressed unless extraordinary circustances dictate otherwise.

Not just those who are wealthy, well-known or politically connected.

ALL found guilty should be named. End of story.

JUSTICE (as opposed to LAW) requires fair, firm and CONSISTANT treatment.

This selective covering up is none of the above.

But how can it ever be fair ?

If say your name is Bastable, then you and your family are probably one of a kind.

If however, your name is Miller Smith or Brown, then publication doesn't mean a thing.

So the punishment of name publication is not inherently fair.
