My opinions on matters of the day that, generally, have pissed me off.
Being described as a 'Surly Curmudgeon', by those who meet me on a good day, I have a poor regard for the human species.

Movie Review
Took me a while (that happens) but- damn- that was a good movie!
BB- that's much as I saw it too. There was quite a bit of discussion about this at the time it came out and that was the consensus then too.
As for actors opinions- I view them as empty shells that are 'programmed' for a role. Their 'real world' opinions have no more weight with me than that of the bloke at the local bottle shop!

And now you know why the picture i sport in my profile has been that for two years.
On the other hand if you watched the cast interview3s you'd call it a piece of pro-terroist crap.
Show me one country where you can be arrested for having a koran.
I'll show you a dozen where bible will get you death.
It's a movie.
It's not real.
The pro-terrorist sentiment was VERY real. As was the blowing up of stuff in London.
I'm against the blowing up of stuff in London and the presntation of the bleief that its ok. Ask Stephen Fry though, he differs.
Try looking at the context. The regime he was fighting against was pretty awful.
So destroying the seat of the western legal system is valid?
Terrorism good when it suits?
There is no context. It was taken for a left wing wet dream ride by the people that made it.
Perspective is everything Murray, I had the govt pegged as a left wing dictatorship and V as a libertarian avenging angel.
I say again- It's a friggin' movie!
Please check your reality settings!

People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.
