Looks like a Colt 1911 A1 to me.
I didn't think they were around in 1913.

You are correct with the ID!

They were around from about 1908 (from memory)

The US army adopted them in 1911, thus the name.

The 1911 was adopted by the US Army in 1911, but the Colt you show is a 1911A1 the improved version adopted by US Army in 1923.

We also read oil Drum for a Horse?

I take it the Shotgun isn't a original 1897 Winchester Pump, but a Communist Chinese Copy?
I hope the Colt isn't a Communist Chinese Copy? or you are using Communist made ammo?

It seems many are the first to condem China, but the first to buy there wears, made by forced Labour & political prisoners! I hope your not one of these people Oswald?

To people reading your blog they could be mistaken for a bunch of Hoons ready to polute our enviroment with chemical polution from gunpowders & lead!

On the other hand the Wild Bunch were a pack of criminals robbing Banks with no regard for the Public in General, just a pack of lowlifes!

Seems not the thing for a Rightwinger to be involved in?

I think the correct way to have a Wild Bunch reenactment is to be the Mexican Army and instead of the above kit yourself out with 98 Mausers, and be the good guys!

For fuck's sake!

Life is too short to take everything so seriously!

But if my posting has upset one uptight asshole, the time spent doing it was worth it, to me!

Oswald, do you own a machine gun at all or have you ever fired one?
