Time to pack my hi-tech 19th century gear away for a bit.Trails End-the big event is only six weeks away, so I will be getting in a bit of practice in with my pair of these- the Remington 1858 .44 (which is actually a .45!) Cap & ball revolver.
Lots of smoke, flames and hot lead are going to be flying over the next month or so, as I fine-tune my pistols and muzzle-loader!

Mine is not a .45 It's just that the .454 ball I use gets .014 shaved off when I load it, it also compresses a bit when loaded.
