The Blame Game

"Charge against the formation leader of an Air Force Iroquois that crashed on Anzac Day, killing three men, changed after two days of evidence.
Flight Lieutenant Daniel John Pezaro, 30, was charged with negligently failing to perform a duty, after failing to abort the mission when weather conditions deteriorated so much that visibility was lost..."

I'm betting that is he HAD aborted the fight, he would have been dragged over the coals for doing so. I'm sure the conversation would have gone along the lines 'So do you expect a war to stop because you don't feel safe flying in the rain?'

Damn! Not Guilty!

I was alway taught that if they went to the bother of a court-martial, somebody was going to be punished.

Although, I guess this is a career ender...
