My opinions on matters of the day that, generally, have pissed me off.
Being described as a 'Surly Curmudgeon', by those who meet me on a good day, I have a poor regard for the human species.
This is my place for my free speech- not bloody yours. Crap under your own rock.
The upper one reminds me of my Ruger "Old Army" - although mine has a ramp front and micrometer rear sights. The loading ram has a different latching mechanism, too, but I truly LOVE a stainless for black powder...if I'm too lazy to clean it after a day spent plinkin', I can wait until morning to clean it.
Aaaahhhhh....the M1911.... Never shot anything less than Expert on the qualification ranges. Never fired the M9 for qual, but with the ol' .45, I'd always put lead on target.....

Lovely things--every home should have at least one!
Ahhh, the 1911. The best semiauto handgun ever. :-)
Indeed it is!
My one has fired thousands of rounds with ONE stoppage.
I remember it well! It was only because I was using semi-wadcutters and Mr Browning did not design the 1911 to shoot those!
Nice - especially the top one.
