BULLSHIT!
No easy answer to rail crossings, says Ontrack Link:
I dont see what the problem is [apart from the obvious that people are dying] An intersection with a railway line is not a lot different to an intersection with another road. People dont seem to drive through a giveway sign in front of a 40 ton 18 wheeler bearing down on them, why try it with a 2000 ton train? As has been pointed out, those that do it, tend to edit stupidity out of the human race. Let them keep on till there are no more.
while I agree with the sentiment Ash, the only problem is the people on the train who get injured through no fault of their own. And the fact that some poor sod has to clean it up....

oh! and hyenas. Definitely hyenas, for the major bones.
I heard somewhere that Hyenas have the strongest jaws, something to remember i guess.
It is amazing how many drivers out there don't understand simple laws of physics.
When it is a car verses a train the train always wins. Trains can't brake quickly like cars.
