Especially don't do it when you have a dud hand and dodgy eyesight!
And it's a really bad idea after using whiskey for cough medicine...

I agree with the tips. In our classes we teach every student how to clean their firearms by detaching each and every component and then boxing back in a proper order. A person who has no training shall never be able to fix it.
