In a grown up world, he would have replied in the manner of- 'well get out of the cab & walk and don't expect anyone else to pick you up'

But it's not a grown up world when this storm in a very small teacup winds up in court and the judge doesn't throw it out immediately.

The REAL reason

The local 'News' has been flooded with pseudo stories about Whaleoil and Cameron Slater. ALL in the negative.

What is that REALLY about?

Simple. They are pissed and trying for payback, as someone outside their card-carrying ranks has been used as the government's catspaw.

All the juicy tidbits they would normally have dropped in their laps have gone elsewhere.

To somebody NOT in their union.

THAT is the reason this story stays on the front page. The peter-puffers of the MSM are royally pissed about not getting the good stuff first.
