Fixed it! Normal service has now resumed

"...Cameras at petrol stations will automatically stop uninsured or untaxed vehicles from being filled with fuel, under new government plans. Downing Street officials hope the hi-tech system will crack down on the 1.4million motorists who drive without insurance. Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras are already fitted in thousands of petrol station forecourts. Drivers can only fill their cars with fuel once the camera has captured and logged the vehicle’s number plate. Currently the system is designed to deter motorists from driving off without paying for petrol. But under the new plans, the cameras will automatically cross-refererence with the DVLA’s huge database. When a car is flagged as being uninsured or untaxed, the system will prevent the fuel pump being used on that vehicle..."

Hat Tip: Knuckledraggin my life away

The net tightens..and still there are morons whose reaction to the story will be.."well, if you're not breaking the law, you have nothing to fear".
Ignoring, of course, the fact that our masters can introduce any law they please and these fuckwits will one day be in breach of a law they never imagined possible.

Tried that new SKS out on paper yesterday.

Got a nice 100mm vertical string at 50m- damn near a straight line. Now to find or make a ghost ring- or spend money on a holographic sight and I will have a 150 meter weapon to take seriously. ;-)

So.....what happens if I want to fill up a Jerry can for the mower?
I'm glad I don't live in Englan.

You probably just have to provide PROOF that you own a lawnmower, have a dangerous goods license, a chemical handlers certificate and produce photo ID...

Nice shooting, especially if it was standard cooking ammo. :)
For up to 150m a ghost ring would be nice, especially if you intend you use it on piggies in scrub. What's one worth?

I wonder how the petrol station owners will feel when people with these unregistered cars will just leave them there in the station. No gas, can't get out.

In a way i think it's a good thing, let the net tighten, let there be a camera on every street and a stool sample verification road block every 10 kilometers. Maybe then all the sheeple who can't breathe, fart or scratch their ass in peace will rise up and start teaching these nannying fascists how to fly.

God knows they're not doing a damn thing now.
