Try the circus

"Former Labour MP Georgina Beyer says she is broke and living off the unemployment benefit in a one-bedroom granny flat...
...She has applied for jobs ranging from board appointments and human rights committees to working on the forecourt in a petrol station, all to no avail.
"While I have no formal qualifications, apparently my 20 years involved with politics ... means nothing..." (Bold mine)
It actually means that a career in politics is worth NOTHING.
But the real story lies in why George did not get the usual crony position, post parliament. Must have REALLY pissed a lot of the party and apparatus off. There is normally a plum job awaiting on a board somewhere- even for one touted as the laziest member of the house. Lack of ability, drive or general deviancy has not been a handicap in the past.
What DID Curious George do?

Hmmmmm. Apart from lack of experience in anything other than sitting on one's arse and nodding in turn, maybe being a transexual also heightens the expectations of those who behold this persons credentials that he/she is completely unemployable.

She obviously did and saw nothing as she hasn't even been able to blackmail herself into a slot at the trough. A complete failure then?
