Clueless- as usual
"The Masterton District Council is planning to tackle youth unemployment - but still hasn't decided how to do it..."
Then there is the observation:
"...Councillor David Holmes said he had taken on work experience students in the past, and it was a huge commitment for an employer. A lot of good people were out there, but there were "a lot of people who don't want to work"..."
Easy- remove the idler's benefits!
See- I know how to tackle it! Won't be a 100% fix, but what is?

Good one Os, the Libertarianz Party has a solution for yoof unemployment - abolish the minimum wage. Better that an unemployed aqnd unskilled 18 year old is outside shovelling shit for $10 an hour than sitting vampire-like inside playing X-box for $5 an hour on the dole.
