Of course. You would have to be be barking mad to want to bring this rabble to NZ.
But then socialists are mad by definition.
It's not as if we don't have enough home-grown scumbag criminal welfare leeches here already.
It's not as if we don't have a housing crisis already.
It's not as if we don't have out of control crime here already.
But no, invite a bunch that have made every effort to disguise their true identity for obvious reasons and who riot every time things don't go their way.
What could possibly go wrong?
My opinions on matters of the day that, generally, have pissed me off. Being described as a 'Surly Curmudgeon', by those who meet me on a good day, I have a poor regard for the human species. This is my place for my free speech- not bloody yours. Crap under your own rock.

We have this Backwards
Gated communities are becoming more popular, but I can't help think that we have this the wrong way around.
We need to put the fences and gates around the worst communities. The gates would be a good place to put the local police station, too.
In my area, most of the police calls are to a block not much more than 500m on a side.
Ring-fence those fuckers with concertina so we don't need to aspire to an enclave with automatic gates and a security fence.

Hang them High!
Car thieves.
Preferable drag-hang the scum!
Our car has had a window broken, ignition switch mangled and the dash trim torn apart by an inept, useless shit-eater who couldn't even do the job properly.
Of course the plods are only interested in folk going 5k over the posted limit and even if they caught the subhuman piece of shit, a judge would give him home detention.
A rotting corpse would be a worthwhile addition to the nearest lamp post. Especially seeing as the light has been out of action for the last month or so...

What I have been up to
About the time I stopped posting here, I started selling books on Trademe. I had a small mountain of surplus books and I decided to turn them into money. I have never been into the selling thing and it a bit of a challenge to try something new.
Turns out that I'm not too bad at it.
This has also led to a lot more reading. It's a double win for me. I buy books, read them, then sell them.
This is the other reason I have absent.
The quadruple bypass thing has not helped, either...

Injuries incompatible with living
Why do the gibbering classes have difficulty with this phrase.
It means that someone is so fucked up they cannot possibly live.
The head has been detached from the body.
The body is cut roughly (or exactly) in half.
There are no pieces left that are bigger than a potato.
The body has absorbed so much electrical energy that it is on fire.
Most of the victim is now inside a large mammal/reptile fish.
The deceased is now flatter than a pancake rolled out by driving an M1A1 Abrams over them until the fuel ran out.

Driver leads police on chase from Nelson to Otago
"Police arrested a 20-year-old man in Waikouaiti, north of Dunedin, shortly after 5pm on Friday. A police dog and handler were involved.
The man appeared in Dunedin District Court on Saturday morning charged with dangerous driving, failure to stop and driving while disqualified. He has been remanded in custody until October 18.
He had allegedly led police on three pursuits over 720km. Officers abandoned each one for safety reasons.
It is understood the driver broke speed limits in towns and overtook cars including on double yellow lines..."
Police don't have radios anymore? I can't do a 30k trip down SH1 without passing at least a couple of police cars. Or is it the H&S monster...

garbage out, garbage in
Or is that garbage in, garbage out? It doesn't really matter with local body elections.
I'm positive that for the main part, anyone standing for public office should be automatically excluded from it.
There are exceptions to all things, but what I mainly see are those with a particular axe to grind (usually to their own benefit) or the 'Look at ME!' types.
At least the second category does less harm, while they do no good.
One thing particularly bothers me. They rarely declare their political stance- only those where they are known to belong to a political party and cannot hide it seem to declare. I think atrough slurper candidate's voting history should be out in the open.
Sure would affect my voting!

An idea
I have a new idea for making money helping people.
I now offer my services as 'Lotto Winner Coach'.
The idea is I help you keep your winnings by teaching you how to say 'NO!', in an assertive manner.
Much of this saying 'NO!" will be to yourself.
I will also teach you options: DON'T go out for dinner, but Do buy that nice piece of steak.
Don't stick it in that little darling- hire a professional by the hour- much cheaper in the long run.
Reasonable fees, available all hours.

It's been a while
Circumstances have kept me away for most of the year- the squirrel that powered my old mac went lame, battles at work, bring to get a little csh sideline going, as well as a touch of the Black Dog.
My second-hand bookshop is now ticking along. I found a newer Mac, with a couple of squirrels in the power box and will make an effort to do at least an occasional rant in the old style.
So many meatheads- where to start?
Somewhere local, I think.
There is far to much oxygen criminally wasted here on what the media perceives as happening with the US elections.
How about cueing a big Nelson Muntz "HA HA!" for Colin Craig- the scumbags that irreparably defied the name 'Conservative' in NZ?

Not what the thieves expected
"...Couple Katarina Fowler and Jamie Brosnahan returned to their home in
Pomona St at 9.30pm on Saturday, only to discover their house had been
broken into and two placentas, from children Kyro, 5, and Cee-Jay, 4,
missing from the freezer..."
So- some thieving sod is now really regretting the post-burglary fry up!
Karma is working very quick these days...

More than simple murder perhaps?
I have heard that perhaps this was not a random murder. The murdered woman moves in political circles and was known to have made submissions against family court reforms.
To me, that must be investigated as a motive. I bet the cops won't have missed that possibility.
So, that could make this an assassination. A political murder.
Which would account for this case being presented as a random killing. Governments don't like assassination. It's not a big deal killing 'little people' but they don't like the idea that the plebs might get the idea that they can target them.
Watch this space.

The real problem on the roads
"...A long queue of vehicles sitting behind an idiot travelling at 80kph are frustrated, angry and far more likely to make bad overtaking
decisions.
Said idiots speed up at passing lanes and slow down again afterwards, and I see this almost every day. I've seen drivers reach licence-losing speeds to pass these fools, pull in front them and slow down, and even force them to almost a stop to let streams of frustrated drivers go by. Idiots who drive slowly and try and force that on other drivers are in my mind a large part of the reason for road deaths.
Our police refuse to deal with it. All they see is the rash overtaking, the excess speeds, the too-close following distances, because, you know, better too slow than too fast.
This laziness on the part of the police has to stop. They should be focusing on all aspects of driving, but especially on behaviour that frustrates other motorists. Refusal to move over on multi-lane roads; travelling slowly and not allowing others to pass; speeding up at passing lanes; speeding up when others try to pass; failure to indicate intentions..."
Well-said!
I was in a line following a slack-jawed moron, doing 65k on the open road a few days ago. Totally oblivious to those stuck behind him. Even worse are the assholes who are playing speed vigilante, deliberatly forcing the traffic to slow to a speed THEY consider safe.
I recommend Bastinado- for a first offence.

Lemmy
Body falling apart, he rolls, slides sideways into the grave on fire and cries "What a fuckin' ride!' at 70.
Beats the hell out of living to any age having done nothing, lived on level seven vegan food (doesn't throw a shadow) and shunned all intoxicants, red meat or casual sex.
It IS better to burn out, than to rust!

That confirms the tech works
"A grief-stricken British couple whose boxer died in June 2015
successfully cloned their dead dog after taking its DNA to a commercial
dog-cloning service.
Laura Jacques, 29, and Richard Remde, 43, paid US$100,000 (NZ$146,000) to enlist the services of Sooam Biotech Research Foundation in South Korea, reports the Guardian.
A boxer puppy was delivered by a surrogate dog on Boxing Day following a successful procedure..."
What interests me is that the tech is obviously there.
So who is cloning people behind closed doors. Or parts of people.
Watch as the rich and famous start having extraordinarily long lives. As many do now, accessing the medtech the rif-raf are not allowed to know of...

insanity rules
It's summer. the sun is out, the water is warm and most folks are in holiday. Yesterday they stuffed themselves stupid and the fridge is still full of cold drinks. If your luck was in, you got goodies and toys.
So what do the stupid fuckers do?
Head to retail hell and go shopping. Probably on credit.
Folks- a real bargain will be the equivalent of a lotto win.
Stay home, go the the beach or river. Play with the kids, eat some more, get pissed but stay out of the frickin' shops.
They will still be there next week.
I'm off to the beach. Afterwards a few cold ones, then savor my Christmas cigar.

Trampers are getting dumber
"A group of trampers activated a locator beacon after a member of their
party became ill, then carried on tramping the Hollyford Track on Sunday
morning, police say..."
I don't care what any of them say. If the situation warrants activating a beacon, at least one other person should stay with the casualty.
The so-called friends are a bunch of arseholes!

Probably blasphemy in NZ
Not a great person at all
What kind of loser has a fortune and yet fails to provide for their children? Especially when you know you are on borrowed time.
I have been heartily sick of the faux wailing and gnashing of teeth over the totally expected demise of this buffoon.
I have seen too many good people go into the night without any kind of fanfare. People who have done great and good things without financial reward...

Scam alert
"Kiwi households will pay about $100 extra a year as part of New Zealand efforts to meet an ambitious new climate change target, Prime Minister John Key says..."
Just as well he gets a $ 13,500 pay rise this year. That should cover the damage.

A cunning plan
Say there is global warming when there isn't. Keep telling the lie loudly.
Grab a shitload of tax money and jobs on the gray train for your partners in crime.
Take credit for the end of the world not happening. Easy when it was never going to happen.
Just like Y2K...
